This was the first time I have used Parking Express and was a bit dubious that everything would go to plan. However, I found the site quickly, parked easily and hey pronto, a bus was waiting for us. On our return, we reported to the appropriate bus stop and only had to wait a few minutes before a bus arrived. All in all, my friends and I we really pleased with the service and would certainly use Parking Express again.

Car park was confusing- ticket machine at enterence, wasn't sure if I was going to get charged again- nothing to re-assure me that it was going to be OK. Didn't realise the bus had different car park stops, so got off and the wrong one. There should be better (some) instructions on how to use the car park when you buy the ticket! Car park pretty dark- hard to find car. Had ticket validated in customer services but then wouldn't work on the barrier- member of staff came and sorted it out quickly.

Could do with one or two more bus-stops. We had quite a trek from our space to the nearest bus-stop (which was not very visible from a distance or well signed either). Poor pedestrian route to the bus-stop -- finding route unexpectedly blocked by raised kerbs and hedges, which was frustrating with luggage in tow. On our return the airport roads were congested and the transfer buses were badly affected. Ours was slow, late, had to leave 20 people behind at T3 and standing in it was like being in the Black Hole of Calcutta. Hopefully an exceptional experience outside the operator's control. Drivers could do with having a microphone or a strip display announcing which terminal they were arriving at. Common in overseas airports. Both our drivers (outward and return) had weak voices and it was easy to miss what they said on the single occasion they called out the next stop.

We arrived back at the Car 13 hours late, paid 1 day extra which I thought was fair, another customer was 1 hour delayed and she also had to pay full day rate, should really allow for a little allow for a little flexibility due to being at an Airport, say the 1st hour delayed included in the charge, any extra then payable as the extra day! - Very good and would use again

Unfortunately I mislaid my parking ticket. The chap at reception however with my reference was able to deal with the matter and I was not delayed. I found the ticket about two minutes after leaving the car park but another car park could have been awkward in the circumstances.

On returning at about 8 pm, terminal 2 had been closed for 7 hours apparently due to a security alert. When I came out, there was no information that this was the case, you only guessed it as their seemed to be chaos everywhere. I asked a terminal person if they knew whether buses were running to car parks, as there was no notice on you bus stop advising what the situation was. These terminal staff had no idea either and told me to go find a person with a Taxi Bib and take a taxi to the car park. I could not find any such person and so came back to the bus stopped and phoned the number given for out of hours arrivals. I was then told that buses were only going to terminal 1 and 3 and I should go there and flag one down. On getting to terminal 1 I found no buses there either and phoned again. This time I was told to go to departures on the 1st floor as buses had been redirected there (why was I not told this immediately), eventually a bus turned up after 45 minutes, (even though other buses seemed to come regularily). I can understand that in today's climate of security such alerts will occur. What I cannot understand is why some signs could not have been printed using a WP and then attached to all bus stops advising clients exactly what to do. By the time I arrived the security alert was already 7 hours old, so plenty of time was available to carry this out. Lastly your telephone operator again should have had a text sent to them to follow ensuring all customers knew EXACTLY where to go to find a transfer bus. I hope you will update your 'disaster action plan' in the light of this latest experience

Couldn't find it straight away as no signposts at all on the A4 - you need to get on the inner ring road/airport perimeter road, then there are loads of signs. Also use junction 3 rather than junction 4 of the M4 at the moment as bad roadworks at junc 4 - long queues. Had to wait a while for bus on the way back which was annoying. All in all, service was OK.

Overall an excellent experience of airport parking; fast, no delays and a short distance from the terminal. One down point, however - whilst the transfer bus driver TO the airport terminal on the morning of 26/9 was good, the driver FROM the airport terminal to the car park on the afternoon of 28/9 was uncommunicative and unhelpful to a clearly disabled female passenger, who had to ask him to put out the ramp for her; which he did reluctantly, without speaking - hence my grading of this part of the service above.

Even though I had pre-booked and paid for my ticket on the internet in advance, when I put my ticket in the machine on exit it was not recognised. I had to park the car up in the rain and go into the Customer Services area to have the ticket checked. It went through without issue but in all it added an unwanted 10 minutes to my journey home after a very delayed flight from Istanbul.

Arrived a little late and drove down to the zone indicated to park our car. The sign clearly needed altering as we struggled to find a space in that area. Once parked, we went off to find the right bus stop. I'm still not clear as to which one we were meant to wait at, as it certainly wasn't the one the booking slip advised, but in the end we managed to flag down a bus to terminal 4. On both journeys, the bus drivers were extremely helpful and courteous, and we waited barely three minutes to be picked up. Overall a good experience, but the lack of ground staff made the whole thing worryingly confusing.

Resurfacing work on a recent visit meant that access to one bus stop was blocked from where we parked. Signage was not updated to relect this - so it was also difficult to find the exit. Lighting could be improved -sometimes difficult to see at night

Driver didn't warn us which terminal he was going to which led to an hour long extra trip when we got on the wrong bus. Luckily we didn't miss our flight!

Excellent experience, arriving early in the morning I was concerned about waiting for the coach but it arrived within minutes, coach journey was fine. unfortunately I had used the incorrect car number on my pre booking and came back a day later, the girl I dealt with in your office was very friendly and accommodating and helped me out. The only downside was having to pay the full price for the additional days parking rather than the reduced rate for pre-booking. Something you could look into, apart from that a very good experience.

The biggest problem I find with Parking Express is finding my way back out of the airport. There was one sign for Exit/A30 and I just found myself driving around different perimiter roads looking for an M4 signpost. Eventually I had to try to find my way back to Terminal 1 and I found the exit from there. Although this is as much the fault of the airport as Parking Express themselves, I would choose another car park if given the choice.

Easy to find, quick and regular transfers with helpful drivers and car park staff, not too expensive when booked online with Simply Parking. Generally good value for money.

The bus drivers did not wait until people had stowed their luggage before setting off. Leaving me trying to store 3 suitcases, whist he tore around the car park and on the return the terminal buildings. Furthermore he shouted at my wife when she was struggling to load luggage on to the bus, for holding up traffic, when he had failed to pull in at a designated bus stop! There was no information about what to do with the car park ticket once we had landed, meaning we had to phone customer services. Not the friendly northern experience we are used to.

I booked this over the Internet as a short stay, as I was dropping my son off. The Internet said it was short stay. I could have used multi-storey carparks along the terminal at half the price. I think it should be said that stays of less than 4 hours are not the most economical option.

Service worked like clockwork. No delays waiting for the buses. Good service. Can't realistically see any room for improvement - could be even cheaper!

Good all round. I have found it's usually better to use a carpark that is sited on the airport rather than some dodgy old bit of land that has a portacabin. This one was just the job - I would use them again.

Route to bus stops from parking spot unclear we ended up going through holes in the hedges -difficult with cases!. There was some use of temporary bus stops - ( due to the redevelopment work) - signing about these was poor/unclear Major re-surface works being carried out.. some of the road signing was unclear and could have been better and as 2 out of 3 exit gates were dug up some delay when leaving.
