Very good all round, excellent value for money but it would be helpful if you could give a general ETA when customers call from the airport to book their return transfer to the site. I know there's traffic etc but an idea would have been better than waiting the 40 minutes that we did (i.e. "we're expecting a few more from your flight so it'll be about 30 minutes" would have allowed us to get a coffee rather than waiting at the cold bus stop for 40 mins)

I got stuck when they shut the M4 at Juntion 3. It took over an hour to get form Heathrow T1 to the parking lot. So factor that in when travelling. One other guy had missed his flights because if it. All in all the service was good and saved me a packet. However, there was not a great service for a disbled passenger - bit difficult to get on and off the transfer bus. But would use them again as I saved over £120.

The only problem was the time to get back to the car park after the airport pick-up -- but we can't blame Purple Parking for roadworks and the M4 traffic! We thought less than £60 for nearly a month was remarkable value, though no doubt it would cost much more in high season.

Never like leaving someone else to park my car but to be fair there wasn't a mark on the car and the odometer showed the car had only moved a few feet. However, on return, was told to wait at certain spot, so duly waited there, bus couldn't get right in there as it was busy, fair enough, but we DIDN'T SEE HIM parked a few feet away, when we finally did we got a load of abuse "didn't you see me parked there" - well if we had we would have bloody well walked over, not stood there wondering where he was!!! He was the most abusive, foul tempered driver I have ever had the misfortune to have been picked up by. And judging by the looks on other passengers faces we weren't the only ones to experience his wrath! To be honest I wouldn't bother with PP again.

Have used Purple Parking before, would not hesitate to use again and would recommend their service to friends, neighbours etc. Why pay onsite airport charges when you can park at a fraction offsite and in the knowledge that there is an excellent deliver//collection service.

Booking, arrival and getting to the airport were excellent and all wentvery smoothly. Return trip was not nearly so good, we waited ages at the airport for the bus (we did call as soon as off the plane) there was a long queue and only 1 bus came. The driver was surley and made several mistakes entering information onto his keypad - we had to stop in a bus stop on the drive back so that he could do it again! Not really what you want after a long haul over night flight. Shame because it was so good before.

On return we were deposited at shelter with heavy cases, having actually driven past our vehicle about 100 yards before. Driver said he couldn't do individual drops but we can't see that say 2 or 3 drops for each minibus full would be a major problem. Vehicle was driven 5 miles in total while we were away, which is a lot better than some of the stories of major journeys to distant parks you see reported on consumer progs.

I would wholeheartedly recommend Purple Parking. Booking online was easy and the staff were friendly and helpful. Journey to and from the airport was approx 10-15 mins. For the return pick-up, we only had to wait 5 to 10 mins at the airport before the mini-van showed up.

We were generally very happy with the service , our main critisism was that because it was raining heavily on our return to the UK the bus steamed up so that we could not see where we were going and the ride to the car park was very bumpy due to poor roads and heavy traffic. The main plus was prompt polite and helpful service at a reasonable price.

When I phoned up as it says, when left aircraft I was told that a mini bus was at the bus stop four terminal three, when I got out I was told it had just left, and had to wait a while for another one. When it came the driver was great and did all he had to do.

Kept waiting half an hour in an unclean transit bus before leaving for airport and on return exited airport quickly and efficiently then had to wait at least another 25 mins to be picked up. It was then a further 30 mins to Purple Parking via very narrow back streets and then dropped off a considerable distance from our vehicle and eventually by the time we were in our own car and exiting car park, a total of 1 hr and 15mins later we then had to join Friday rush hour traffic - we will not use Purple Parking again.

I found purple parking to be absolutely dismal which came as quite a disappointment after reading all the positive reviews on this site. Upon arriving at the site in plenty of time we were advised that we could not get onto the bus about to leave for our terminal as there were four of us and only space for three on the bus, we waited well over 20 minutes for the next bus to be ready to leave-so much fro transfers on demand! Upon our return to Heathrow we called the number as requested; we were advised that a bus was on the way and directed to the bus stop. At this particular bus stop there were approximately 20 other people waiting for the purple parking mini bus, some of whom had already been waiting 15 minutes. After a further half hour of waiting (during which time more people arrived for the bus) a mini bus finally turned up which had space for about 20 people on it. After a nine hour overnight flight I was not in the best of moods for the resulting scrum for seats so called purple parking again to be told that another bus should be with us 'soon'. After another 10 minutes we gave up and got a taxi to the site - £25 which l am still waiting to be refunded. One thing l did notice while waiting all that time at the bus stop was that ALL the other car park providers seemed to have large busses which ran very frequently - the only huge queue of fed up customers was for purple parking. Avoid.

Both my husband and myself thought that the service was excellent - when we arrived to book our car in the staff and service was extremely efficient and the trip to the airport was very comfortable and quick especially as we travelled in rush hour traffic. Our return was just as efficient with only a few minutes wait for the minibus to pick us up and when we arrived our keys were handed to us and our car was waiting only feet away in one of the bays. A good efficient all round service !

So it's simple eh? book online, pay, receive confirmation, turn up, park enjoy holiday? WRONG - booking was cancelled for no apparent reason, arrogant customer service staff would not listen or read my print out of confirmation, transfer drivers revving engines in their impatience at me trying to resolve matter at the gate. Ended up paying twice and £13 more than internet price. Eventually resolved with a refund but will avoid at all costs in future. I doubt this will be published

It would be helpful if passengers were told about the pass to get out of the car park so that it minimises delays as cars are queuing up behind. Our flight was delayed and we were not charged extra by the car park compamy which was very welcomes as we were 3 hours later than estimated

probably the best service i have received.My wife arrived with an injury and the staff were extremely helpful. Withinn 15 mins of landing we were through customs and the transport was waiting for us. My car was safe.Absolutely top rate service . I will definitely use PP again and recommend to everyone i know!!

We had to wait 20 minutes to be picked up upon our arrival a lot of passengers were left as no room however there was no system to see who had been waiting the longest. Both drivers there and back were not rude but also not very friendly and did not give any information.

NOt easy to find so need to read directions carefully (or have GPS!). Staff rather left us to work things out for ourselves e.g. where to park on arrival, what to do with luggage etc. On return only waited for 10 mins for bus but the lack of any controls on who boarded meant that there was a fair bit of pushing in by less courteous travellers. The driver could have prevented this by taking the tickets from those at the head of the queue. That said we will certainly use again if price is right!!

I was most impressed by being greeted by name when we arrived. The directions were clear and easy to follow. Transfers went smoothly (though we arrived back quite early in the morning). The car was where it should have been, undamaged, and the procedure for leaving clear. Also I left some stuff in my car that was secure and intact on my return. No complaints at all. Much easier than I had anticipated.

We had to return to the park within an hour because of a passport problem at check in. It took ages to locate my car and nobody seemed to know or care what we should do when we returned from collecting another passport. There was another customer who had waited one and a half hours to collect his brand new car that had had a valet done on it which was not ordered and when it finaly arrived for collection the drivers door was badley damaged. Having seen his experience I decided to use the business parking on the Airport rather than risk an experience like this. I would not use Purple Parking again.
