We chose this car park because of the higher frequency of buses and relatively low transfer time to/from the terminal. Last time we flew we decided to get to the airport by public transport and coming home late like that with a 4 year old after a long day travelling was too much. One pays more to park rather than get public transport, and obviously one pays a premium to park closer to the terminal, but for us it was well worth the expense for the benefit of getting home in a fraction of the time it would have taken by train.

The journey to the airport was chaos,people were almost standing on top of each other with cases strewn all over the floor,only half the people put cases on the rack which made it difficult to get off on the return journey and that was in the low season,I dread to think what it would be like in summer. A trouble free experience, however, I did find the parking bays a bit narrow. It was a bit difficult getting luggage in between cars. However, I was impressed by the security and the conveniance of being so close to the terminal. I will use again soon.

This is the best no hassle airport car park I've used. I always pre-pay so just need to drive in and drive out again without having to deal with "handing over keys" etc. Only hassle is you need to remember your bus stop number not your car space number. Catches people out everytime

Carpark was very secure, but really simple to use if pre-booked as they use a number plate recognition system on arrival. The transfer buses where very regular so waiting for a bus both in the carpark and at the terminal on return did not involve waiting more than about 5 minutes.

I have used this car park on numerous occasions as it is only 2 - 3 mins transfer time to south terminal. Regular pick-ups from coach stops around the car park. Very quick exit by ticket and reg recognition if you have pre-booked. Other than meet and greet which is much more expensive this is next best option.

We didn't meet any staff, but the automated systems were so good there wasn't any need to meet staff.

Excellent start to the holiday! Knowing that parking was pre-booked and paid for there was no need to worry about finding somewhere to park, transfer to the airport was in minutes; no waiting about, no need to worry about payment on return as it was already done. I would have no doubts about doing the same again next time.

The only thing that went wrong is that the cameras did not recogise our plates on the way out and so they tried to charge us much more. This was sorted out straight away when I complained but still having to go to the office with tired children and a very long day was painful. I don't know how regularily this happens but hopefully they will improve it.

Although we were not in any partiular hurry it was a cold Sunday morning and to stand by and watch 2 full buses go past was frustrating. The route from the car park bay to the bus stop (at the bus stop) was waterlogged but it had been raining hard earlier (bus stop 6 Zone B). Very friendly and helpful staff when I called in to verify my ticket (albeit not required!).

South terminal car park easily accessed from approach road and well signposted. Clear directions to available parking area. Areas well lit at night. Good transfer bus service to terminal. Very good value for money ... look for special summer rates and promotions.

I was very irritated that the chip did not recognise my card at the exit and I had to get out of the car in the rain to have a rather grumpy member of staff validate it. As well as my card she also required the booking form which, if it had been at the bottom of my bag would have further exasperated me

Quick, efficient service. Excellent security. Would definitely use Parking Express on our next visit.

Overall, absolutely average service, nothing outstanding but would definitely use again as was so close to terminal.

Near to airport...which is great. And, without doubt, the biggest plus was the quick arrival of the coach after returning to Gatwick. This was very pleasing. Will definitely use again.

We booked early and managed to secure an excellent rate for parking for three weeks. The location is fantastic for the south terminal and the shuttle buses arrived within five minutes at each end of our journey. I would definitely use this service again.

It would help when coming back to your car if you remember which bus stop number you got on and not just what row you parked in. Excellent service and would use it again.

A smooth experience but a real test was our son leaving his bag on the transfer bus. The system to retrieve it was efficient and pleasant, well done.

Excellent directions. We were able to drive straight in and transfer to the airport in a matter of minutes. The same applied on our exit. Would definitely use Parking Express again.

When we arrived home we forgot where our car was!! All the bus drivers rallied round and were cheerful and helpful assuring us we weren't entirely hopeless!! All was well and we set off home happy!! A great friendly service.
