When booking, it would be helpful to clarify that the time required is the time of arrival of the flight, rather than the time at which we would expect to be leaving the parking site. We had to make an amendment by phone to ensure this.

You can't really complain about this company. You get what you pay for after all. So we got a park at Heathrow, for less than the cost of a taxi either way, but in general, we found the staff really miserable. The driver who took us to the airport drove at 30 miles an hour all the way there... when we jumped out of the mini bus to grab our bags, he seemed to deliberately stand in the way and as slowly as possible put the bags on the floor - all with a little wry smile on his face. Maybe I imagined it, who knows, but regardless, its pods all the way for me at Heathrow from now on.

Check in was simple. Although you should arrive at the time specified when you book the parking. They are expecting you at the time you indicate in you booking. It seems they also plan their trips to the each terminal based on when you say you will arrive. I was late, but they were forgiving. Great affordable parking experience. I called to be picked up after clearing customs and twenty minutes later I was picked up at terminal 4 and taken directly to my car. I did not have to remember where I parked. Thank you very much.

Very clear directions. Easy on arrival to leave car and transfer to terminal at Heathrow. On return I had to wait nearly an hour for the transfer bus to turn up - much too long in my opinion. There didn't seem to be a shortage of buses or staff . No apology.

Waited five minutes in there bus before it left for the airport and waited about the same amount of time to be picked up. Only criticism is the phone number to call for collection is an 0845 one.

Group of staff walked past me whilst I struggled alone with cases, bags and two young kids. No offer of help, and a curt comment when I asked if there were trolleys of "you've only get to get to there", seemingly implying that I should grow some extra arms. Lost return ticket. Big mistake. Ended up stranded at Heathrow in the middle of the night waiting for somebody to answer my call at Purple. This was the number advertised on their website, yet no hint that this was a daytime number only. Stupidly stayed on the line for half hour, believing "please stay on the line, an operator will answer your call shortly". Heathrow was closing down for the night, I was stranded and no airport staff knew where PP pick up was. Confirmation email said it was next to American Express (there isn't one in Terminal 4!!) Eventually got through, operator was rude and really couldn't care less about the incorrect answer service, asking "do you want to be picked up or not?" Charmer. Not all bad. Drivers to and from airport were lovely, park was easy to find, secure, and reasonably priced. Recommended for those with thick skin who don't lose things.

Great service. I was especially impressed by the "no customer waits more than 10 minutes in a transfer bus" policy. I will be using purple parking again.

While the parking was a little further away from the terminals, the transfer was quick and painless, and the cost was significantly lower than anything else. Top value.

We arrived and parked, got on a bus, which left 5 minutes later. The driver helped us unload the luggage at the airport. When we returned, the driver was waiting for us at the bus stop (I'd telephoned when we had collected our luggage) and drove us right to our car. Good and reliable service.

I'd advise plenty of time before your flight as the car park is some way from the terminals. I waited about 20 mins before the transfer to the airport and about 40 mins waiting on return pick up, excluding the actual transfer journey itself. Once dropped off at the car park, I then had a fairly long walk with cases to reach the car. But the process is easy, staff are fine and it is much cheaper than many alternatives. And I don't like having to leave my keys with them. Not sure I'd use again unless I had plenty of time.

I found purple parking easy to use and very efficient! We waited less than 5 minutes for our outward in inward journey. It was raining when we were dropping off our car but only had to go a short distance to the waiting area. I would definately use purple parking again, I found them helpful and professional.

The person who i called when I was landed just rudely put the phone down, did not give me a chance to ask anything. The driver arrived later than expected and the reason was oh that is raining...yep this is so uncommon in this country ?!?!

This was the fastest most efficient parking service we have ever used. Both my wife and I were very surprised at how fluid the whole process was. We have used other parking services before where we had to line up and check in and give our keys over etc etc which can be quite time consuming when you have a plane to catch. Purple Parking however was stress free, queue free and very very fast. On top of that it left us feeling very safe about where we were leaving our car. I would definitely use Purple Parking again.

Good car park, close to Heathrow, the only thing that was not perfect was the waiting time for the transfer after the return (I was waiting about 20 minutes). Otherwise all good.

The parking lot was not in the most obvious of places but my sat nav and map reading abilities made it easy to find. The entry into the main parking lot was through a number plate recognition gate which was pretty quick. A van was ready and waiting for my luggage and myself and took me straight to the Departures section of Terminal 1. Collection could have been smother if only I had read my ticket before I landed which instructed me to call Purple Parking as soon as I landed. That said, I still only had to wait for 10 minutes for the collection van to turn up. I am unable to comment on the lighting as I was not there in the dark however, the parking surface seemed adequate for my little car and there appeared to be plenty of people about to keep an eye on things. All in all a no frills parking area and you get what you pay for. I will certainly be using Purple Parking again.
