Purple parking offers reasonable value for money as one of the cheapest long-stay parking options at Heathrow, but the car park is quite far from the airport, especially Terminal 5 which can take quite a time to get to if traffic is bad, so you need to leave plenty of time for transfers. The transfer involves a bumpy ride through suburban streets for a couple of miles before a few more miles of M4 and M25 if you are going to Terminal 5. The car park itself is rather shabby and in a post-industrial wasteland but this goes with the price.

Some confusion (my fault) over term2 bus stop and central bus stop. Instructions on ticket could include a clause, "not Central Bus Stop."

Convenient and value for money. Terminal 4 was 15 minutes away which was fine. We did have to que on the M4 to get to the car park which made us cut it a little fine, but no fault of purple parking.

I've used this service many times over recent years and have never had a cause to complain. There is always a transfer within a few minutes from when you drop your car off and not very long to wait when you ring them after landing. I've just discovered they offer car wash/vac too. Back there for another two weeks this weekend so will try the car wash option. Drivers are always helpful and courteous. I wouldn't consider parking anywhere else. We had to wait a very long time at Heathrow terminally 5 on the way home before being picked up to go to purple parking. No-one apologised for delay. Lesley Browne, Teacher

This was my second use of Purple parking, and it has been a very clear straight forward process.

We were told to expect a bus within 20 mins and 15 mins to the terminal. We waited 35 mins for a bus, which went to T4 before T5. We missed security for our flight by 13 minutes.

the parking spot is too far from airport and in an inconvenient location . Transfers from Heathrow back to parking spot was a long wait . The transfer car took a long time to come to pick us from the airport .Waiting at terminal 22 in the freezing weather made it more painful

I booked and extended my stay through a third party. Upon arrival, I pointed out we were staying, and paid for, an extra day, as can be seen on the new booking confirmation. We returned on Sunday morning at 5AM, to be told we need to pay for the extra day. Regardless of showing the rude, unhelpful man working there confirmation of payment and the extension, he refused to "release" my car until I paid again, as they haven't been paid by the third party. His reply to everything was "That's your problem" and was yelling at me even though I had my card out ready to pay. When I got in touch with the third party, they informed me the car park gets paid in one lump sum at the end of the month and therefore wouldn't have had payment, but they were notified of the extension and accepted the notification! Not only does this man need training in his company's own procedures, but he needs training in customer service and just being a decent human being.

I was actually suprised and impressed at the efficiency and professionalism of the service we were provided with, both before flying and on our return, I don't think it could have gone any more smoothly. Thank you.

Booking the parking was very straightforward and everything was very smooth on arrival. Experience slightly tarnished by it taking some time to collect us from the airport....and the picking up of others from another terminal delayed us further But overall very happy and woulkd use again

Good value for money parking, transfer took approximately 10/15 minutes. Keys given promptly back from driver. Overall good parking facility.

It's excellent service, good for value, perhaps the car could do with a bit of quick valet and also to check on car starting during winter months ( as cars may need a jump start. overall it was great experience and all staff members were friendly & helpful.

On my outbound trip the traffic was very heavy and I would advise people to allow plenty of time to avoid missing flights. On my inbound trip the coach was already at the bus stop and the traffic quite light so I was away quite quickly.

We arrived very early in the morning on the way in and out and we had no issues at all. As soon as we got there we loaded our bags in and left for the airport and as soon as we left the airport we where straight on a bus to the car! Perfect!

Adequate parking and service, although drivers were unhelpful. Southall site is too far from Heathrow and at peak times traffic makes the journey a pain. The Bath road site would be much better.

The compound was a long way from the terminal. Due to the bad traffic the driver took a detour around the houses which seemed like it took for ever. I was very relieved I was not in a hurry to catch a flight.I am tall and found the minibus really uncomfortable with the added noise of the trailer coupling shuddering loudly all the way. A little bit of grease would have made the experience a lot more bearable. I will not use them again as the distance is too far for me to justify the good price.
