Arrived late evening, bar food available but basic & expensive. A little distance to travel to find from main highway. Parking arrangements fine. Customer service so-so! However, good value for one night stay with 8 day parking.

Russ Hill hotel was ideal for a one night stay and parking for the duration of our trip. My car was not moved from the hotel car park and upon return was exactly as I left it. I would use the facility again as long as the deal was much better than others in the area.

Hotel was ideally placed for early morning starts at Gatwick. Room basic, but on a par with Travel Lodge etc. Reception staff excellent, food good - not too pricey. Only fault - coach service not regular enough during early hours, ie we arrived back at 2.00 am, no coach till 3.45 am. On whole, value for money, would recommend (in fact I have already) to many people. Will use again.

Overall, excellent choice and happy to recommend to others. My only problem was that on my return, I arrived just too late for the transfer bus, had to wait alone and in the cold, at night, for the next one in an hour. Having said that, I was then the only one on the bus, so perhaps other guests had taken a cab rather than wait. Maybe next time, I would do that, but of course, it would increase the cost. Not sure what the answer is, but anxious time for a woman returning alone.

Overall the hotel was good. The room was acceptable for the price I paid. Staff was very friendly, the shower was broken in my room and my room was changed without any problem. Bit of investment on refurbishing hotel is definitely a MUST...otherwise all good.

As a overnight stop could not be faulted, rooms adequate for short stay. Will use again for overnight stay and parking, not sure if I would stay for any extended period.

Seems like idiots doing the car parking and then no one that could help on picking up the car. Nearly needed the car recovered by RAC to be mended later as a result.

The hotel room was very tired looking. The food was quite expensive and poorly served and prepared. The extended parking was a little disappointing as we had to pay for an additional night's parking as we were staying at the hotel the night prior to our flight, which was although £5, it was a bit of a con as I felt we were actually guests of the hotel for the first night!!

Our room was small, outdated and very noisy what we assumed was the boiler woke us at around 5am and continued on for 30 mins, then it started again at 6. The food in the bar was not very warm and very overpriced. We stayed on a Sunday and the village bistro was shut, but there seems to be a nice pub in village, but only serves food up to a certain hour. Will not be staying again.

Pleasant stay, clean rooms, the whole place looks a little sad and could do with a face lift. That said, fantastic value for money and the transfers to and from the hotel were excellent.

Found the hotel very basic, really needs decorating and bringing up to date. Will be in no rush to stay again.

Cheap to stop, but the food was expensive. The hotel has seen better days and it was too hot in the rooms to sleep. But it provided inexpensive parking and the bus was on time.

Very unhappy with hotel. No lift or porter available to take bags upstairs to room. Key would not open door, had to get a master key. Man on reception very rude. Also were not notified of return bus fare - had assumed it would be a courtesy service!!

You get what you pay for. A budget hotel room at a budget price. Bar and restaurant are quite expensive for what they are. Parking was a little frustrating as customers booked to return on overnight flights are charged an additional days' parking. I have stayed at many airport hotels before and never been charged extra for this.

The hotel and service provided by all staff was of an excellent standard. The room was spacious, the bedding and decor did not leave us feeling like we were staying in a hotel but more at home! This was excellent value for money, which we shall use over and over again and certainly recommend to friends and family. Thank you.

Good restful night before long air journey following day. Good value for money, car parking very useful, hotel and parking staff helpful and all very efficient. No aircraft noise heard.

We would certainly recommend this hotel to others. It is good value for money and the room was of a good standard and clean. Good facilities offered at the hotel as well.
