If the Summer Special Parking package is selected:

  • Transfers: Transfers operate between the car park and the North Terminal 24 hours a day, every 20 minutes. If you are flying from the South Terminal you should take the free 24 hour monorail service from the North Terminal, which runs every 3 minutes and takes around 2 minutes. You should allow around 30 minutes to drive to the car park and transfer from there to the airport. On occasion there is a service to and from the South Terminal. Please check this with the car park operator on arrival. If the service to the South Terminal is unavailable please use the free 24 hour monorail service.
  • Returns: Returning home, transfers to and from the North terminal operate every 20 minutes 24 hours a day to return you to the car park. On occasion there is a service to and from the South Terminal. Please check this with the car park operator on arrival. If the service to the South Terminal is unavailable please use the free 24-hour monorail service.
    Your car will be brought back to the returns area close to the reception building ready for collection on your return.

Standard on-site parking:
Transfers operate every 30 minutes from 03.05 to 23.55 by coach service between the hotel and both terminals. Transfers cost £3.20 each way for adults and £2.20 per child under 16 each way. Children under 12 travel free, as long as they are accompanied by an adult. (One child travels free for each paying adult.)

On-airport parking at the long-term car park:
Transfers to the North terminal operate 24 hours a day at no extra charge. If flying from the South terminal, guests should take the free 24 hour monorail service from the North terminal, which runs every 3 minutes and takes around 2 minutes.

It is the responsibility of the vehicle owner to ensure that the vehicle is roadworthy, holds a valid MOT certificate and displays a valid road tax licence. The car park will not accept your vehicle if these requirements are not met.

  • Standard on-site package:
  • Includes parking at the hotel. Additional days cost £10.00 each. PLEASE NOTE: During busy periods, your vehicle may be taken off site to a secured car park and brought back to the hotel on your return.

  • On-airport package:
  • Includes parking at Gatwick Airport's Summer Special Car Park (near the North Terminal). You park overnight at the hotel. Reception will give you a voucher to exchange for long-term parking when you take your car to the airport car park in the morning.

  • A valet package is also available, where your vehicle is brought to you at the airport terminal upon your return from holiday.

  • Family rooms consist of 1 double bed and 1 sofa bed.
  • Triple rooms consist of 1 double bed and 1 rollaway bed.
  • If you are staying at the hotel only on your return from holiday, you must go to the hotel reception before parking your car to collect your long-term parking voucher.
  • There is a limited menu available over Christmas and New Year's.

We found the staff in general very helpful and pleasant.The receptionist realised I had not left the yellow copy of the Meet & Greet form and retrieved it for me.The price we paid for the package was very good considering the quality of the hotel

Stayed at Crown Plaza prior to our holiday,handed in car keys to be transfered to a secure car park. Enjoyed a lovely evening dinner withgood service. Met at Gatwick on our return and handed back our car. All in all it was a good and efficent service.

Room was comfortable and quiet but very small. Bathroom was spotless, with a good shower. The lighting system needed sorting - some didn't work and it seemed that youhad to have all the lights on or none at all- including a very bright light above the TV.

We stayed in the Crowne plaza the night before we went away. We were very happy with the standard of room, service and transfer to the airport (the transfer did take about 20mins, where a taxi would take 5mins). The room was modern, clean and comfy. Our parking was meet and greet with Manor Parking and we were also very happy with our experience - Our car only had 7 miles put on the clock so it can't have been taken far and the meet and greet service was efficient, waiting only 5mins after leaving the terminal building for the driver to drop off our car. Very good value for money.

I was really impressed with the service we received at the Crowne Plaza from the moment we arrived to the time we had our car delivered to us at the airport after our holiday. The only thing I would say against the hotel was that the meals and drinks were very expensive although very tasty.

We had a very pleasent stay at the Crown Plaza and at ease knowing the car will be safe while away. The only thing that puts us off was the 40min travel time from hotel to airport, so we paid the £14 taxi fare to get there in 5min. But will most surely stay again and would gladly use the bus if it was direct to airport and not stopping at other hotels.
