The room was like a cupboard. Too hot, couldn't open the window. Had to climb over each other to get in & out of bed because of walls on three sides, with TV on a shelf overhanging the bottom end of the bed. Shower room dim and unpleasant. Won't go back.

Must organise airport coach when arrive as can be overcrowded and no space available. Cost of bus transfer is £2.50 per person per journey so need that cash available.Need to be able to carry own luggage upstairs to room.

Although the hotel is ideal for an overnight stay prior to your holiday, with the extentended parking, the bus transfers can be fully booked or overcrowded - ( luggage in the aisles - which must be a safety issue, and luggage racks some of which are quite high and therefore awkward to get large suitcases onto )

the rooms are small and the bed is really awful the mattress had metal sticking out from it where it was worn. glad i only stayed a few hours, check in very slow.

the only advantage of going to this hotel is the car parking i would not let my dog stay there god only knows what visitors to this country think of us if they are treat like we were.

My car was moved without my permission which concerned me because I didn't permit this and don't know if there was any insurance cover. The car park itself was muddy and very crowded. Would not use hotel again.

Parking facilities very good, and not too close to airport. Not over impressed with hotel,(i.e. would not stay there again unless parking for airport required)

rooms were not cleaned. no hot water. wallpaper stapled on. bathrooms too small to use-had to use public facs. private party on until 1-2pm and could hear the noise in the rooms. overall experience:- worst hotel in the world I have ever stayed in

Apart from the heating not working on the evening we arrived, I would certainly use the hotel again for an airport stay. Plenty of parking good transfers, very good restaurant.

Pretty standard hotel, nice reception area but room given was in the 1970's extension, which doesn't seem to have been updated since. Dark and damp corridors. Carvery serves a very good Sunday lunch if slightly overpriced. Parking and transfer service efficient. Staff helpful and polite.

couldn't fault hotel & parking for value for 1 night ,however we did have to wait 50 minutes at gatwick for courtesy bus to arrive as they are only every hour.

we found the hotel very basic and to be totally honest we think it could do with being bought up to date.we were a bit dismayed to find we were charged an extra day for a matter of couple of hours and also we had to pay to be taken to the airport

Sadly I always find when I stay there that my car is parked at the far side of the parking area, road very potholed although well illuminated. Why is the car not brought to the park closest to the hotel before you return. This time it took me 15 minutes to get my car from where it was parked as it was backed very close to a ditch, it was very dark, and of course cold. Sadly I would not stay here again because of the parking. Cars should be returned much closer to the hotel when you return

The whole experience was very good. No trouble with the car.It had been moved which I didn't expect.The Hotel is quite nice and it was cold so the open fire in the lobby was very welcoming. The coach trasnfers on the hour and to be honest as it costs £2.50 person each way I thought it was just as good to get a taxi for £12.50 each way as for 4 people its not much more and you don't have to wait in the cold on your return. I will definately use the hotel again for the overhight stay and parking.

Will definitely use this hotel again. Very easy to find,well organised, didn't dine, but the dining room looked really good. Clean, good value for money.

Hotel and parking gives great value for money. The hotel during the day has no facillities Transfer to airport and return only every hr, also return we had to wait 2 hrs at Gatwick, hotel staff not helpful, when complaining about long wait

Rooms were what you'd expect for the price.paper thin walls but clean and tidy.Resturants were good value and the service was exellent.Thought it was a bit of a cheek paying for transfer to and from airport.

The hotel and parking was good value for money. It must have been because we are using it again very soon, already booked. Hotel room was basic, clean and the hotel catering was very good.

In the morning of my visit my car had clocked up a memorable mileage (a round thousand). When I went to pick it up it had done about 65 to 75 miles more than I could account for, it was covered in mud and there were muddy fotprints in the back. The parking service will not admit that their staff used the car in an unauthorised manner. I have asked for a refund but they have refused. I have reported the matter to the Police.

surfaces were sticky. Door to the bathroom was sticky. Very unpleasant. it needed a good scrub with a scourer. Very poor standard of cleaniness which has put me off from using it again.
