Crowne Plaza Hotel reviews

Parking was easy, staff were friendly, because we stayed on a Sunday night the restaurant was closed and due to refurbishment the other bar restaurant was out of action. Food we had in bar was great, but it was very cramped. Swimming facilities were excellent. Overall so much easier and cheaper than parking at Heathrow.

Room was very good. Buffet meal was a lot to be desired. On return to collect car I did not have my confirmation to hand which rather irritated the member of staff. I said he was welcome to check back on the booking to confirm that I had stayed there. He assured me that he would be checking to ensure I was telling the truth, practically calling me a liar! Amazing how one person can really wind you up. That said, I would still go back due to ease of location. Thought it was worth the money.

We would certainly use the Simply Hotels website again; the parking was particularly convenient as the car was left on site at the hotel for the week, and not moved elsewhere.

Comfortable beds, large room, no noise in corridors as with most airport hotels. Good customer service at reception - very friendly and efficient.

We were extremely impressed with this hotel especially at the rate we got it for. We have used numerous hotels at Heathrow in the past, but will return to the Crowne Plaza next time.

The registration and parking were very easy, staff friendly and very efficient (including getting an early morning taxi), hotel clean and the room large and well appointed. On the special offer deal a room with 14 days parking were very good value. Only drawbacks are the fact that the airport shuttle bus doesn't start early enough in the morning for 6.15 flight, the dining facilities are very limited on a Sunday evening and the hotel is as ugly and bland as any other modern chain hotel.

A good start to any holiday, when catching a morning flight. The pool was excellent.

One restaurant and one bar closed, even though advertised on hotel website. Open restaurant and bar crowded, noisy, low quality and over-priced.

The deal was absolutely transparent and was as mentioned at the time of booking. I was pleasantly surprised with the quality of the hotel rooms. Parking for 15 days was secure. No problems at all. Will strongly recommend to friends and would like to deal again myself if required.

On arriving at the hotel reception we were served by an unfriendly male whom seemed very unhelpful. When we arrived in the ground floor room it smelt of smoke as if someone had just smoked in there. As I requested a no smoking room I returned to reception hoping that the first unpleasant person was not there. He was not and I was served by a very helpful male who changed our room straight away. On return to the first room the smell was even worse. On closer inspection I found that the smell was coming from outside through a vent. We went to the bar to grab a snack and were not happy by the prices of certain foods, so we left and ate at an establishment outside the hotel.

We have stayed at a few hotels with parking, but the Heathrow Crowne Plaza was the best for us. The price was what we wanted to pay (room only with up to 8 days parking) excellent service all round. Thank you.

Our stay at the Crowne Plaza was the first leg of our long journey to the Galapagos, and so it meant an early flight from Heathrow. The hotel receptionist was absolutely spot on, and although I didn`t actually like the room as much as I had liked the pictures on line, it was merely personal choice on decor. How picky can one be? Everything worked very well, including the hopper bus that arrived as scheduled. Remember it is £4.00 each both ways, and check with the driver which pick up bay to go to on your return. If I fly early morning again, I would not consider staying anywhere other than the Crowne Plaza.

Super Hotel. Lovely room. Good food. And parking on site. What more could you ask for? Bus from hotel to the airport too. A great start to our holiday. Fantastic value too.

A good deal, particularly when you want parking - although you have to get to Purple Parking on return and their pick-ups can be slow. Very easy and efficient taxi ride to airport.
