  • On-Site Parking package:

    • For transfers to and from Terminals 1, 2, 3 and 5 use the Heathrow Hoppa bus, which runs from 05.16 to 23.10, every 15 to 20 minutes. Additional charge applies; normally £5.00 per person, each way. For travel to and from Terminal 4 you must take the Heathrow Hoppa and then the Heathrow Express train, which runs every 15 minutes from 05.00 to 23.45, free of charge.

  • Long Stay Car Park Terminals 1-3 option:

    • The car park provides transfers free of charge to terminals 1-3. If you are departing from Terminal 4 or 5, take the transfer to Terminal 1, 2 or 3 and catch the Heathrow Express (free of charge) to your departure terminal.

Although we stayed one night, the hotel was very good. The staff were helpful and friendly. Lovely restaurant overlooking terminal 5 runway. Excellent transfer in the Pod to T5. It only took 5 mins. Have already booked to stay again

Ideal location for an overnight stop with the Hoppa bus calling at the entrance of the hotel.

My wife told me that the dining room is for fine dining. So we dressed up to the nines on;y to find children crying and all sorts of unkempt patrons eating there. However I must say the food served were excellent

The room was small and it was somewhat complicated to reach, but the service was fantastic. It cost about as much to take a taxi with two people riding as it did to take the Hoppa bus, and was less hassle for us. Overall it was a great experience!

The Thistle Hotel is conveniently placed for Heathrow Airport with an adequate bus service (£3.50 each way)available. The price was reasonable although the charge for breakfast was a little on the high side. The fabric of the hotel is in good order and all the amenities worked satisfactorily. The only down-side was the absence of a lift so that we had to hump our heavy cases up and down the stairs as our room was upstairs.

The rooms were small and not particularly clean, air conditioning poor but couldn't open window due to proximity to the airport Struggled to find a car park space when we arrived No lift so had to carry bags up the stairs A tired old hotel that is need of updating

We did notice that the sound of the air traffic was quite loud, more than in other hotels we have used around Heathrow. The dining room looked rather down at heel.

It's the best priced package for a Heathrow hotel and parking. But the parking isn't easy ... you will need to drive all the way round the back of the hotel to park, but there is a door from there back to reception. The only car park security seems to be that you need a ticket to get out - it's not a patrolled "secure" parking facility like some of the specialist off-airport parking facilities. Recommended if you're on a budget and your car's not a prestige marque or model.

Trying to find a parking space was a nightmare and when we finally found a space it was very hard to get into it due to cars parked on the opposite kerb. Room was very musty as if it hadnt been used for a long time. We arrived around 3.30pm and wanted to start our holiday off with a drink at the bar but in the bar near reception they weren't selling draft beer and the upstairs bar didn't open until 5pm, so we also couldn't eat early - very disappointing. We went to the pub down the road and met several other people from the hotel also having a drink and a meal. The Staff on reception were very helpful and friendly though.

The fact that we had accommodation and parking for a week for the sum of £80.50 was very good value for money. Reception & bar areas were lovely however the bedroom was very tired looking and in need of a redec.
