we had a great stay which made a good start to our holiday, my only request would be that a lift would be good as i was travelling with my daughters and my youngest is disabled and stairs are difficult,but we really enjoyed the hotel.

cannot fault this hotel it was very good value for the money we paid . the parking was on site ,and the transfers to and from the airport were all included .It was very ciean and comfortable would certaintly return

I found the service in this hotel to be excellent. The food and service in the dining room, thugh a little expensive, was excellent. The transfers to and from the airport was timely. I would certainly book this hotel again when flying from Gatwick.

We were so pleased with the hotel, the staff were first rate and so pleasant and helpful the food in the dining room was excellent, we will be staying there again and will recommend to all our friends that fly out from Gatwick.

this is one of the best hotels we have come across.recently having been refurbished by the present owners the rooms are warm well furnished with quality fittings,there is also an excellent resteurant in the extention downstairs,and all the staff are extremely polite and helpful.we will definately be using this hotel again when flying from gatwick, well done special thanks to arzu for her help.

We stayed for one night on 17th February 2008, and left our car for 2 weeks. The whole experience was excellent and I have no hesitation in recommending the hotel. Check in was quick and smooth, our room was excellent and had obviously had some money spent on it recently. Breakfast the next morning was good and prompty served. Check out and transfer was also smooth and quick. On our return we rang the hotel after collecting our bags and the transfer bus arrived five minutes atfer we got to the pick up point. Parking couldn't be easier as they have a secure compound on site.

The state of my car was disgusting because it had been parked under trees I would not use again unless I was guaranteed my car would be parked in another spot

My wife and myself found the Cambridge very nice and all staff very friendly.We had a meal in the al a carte the food was superb along with the service. The pick up from the airport was very prompt and again the driver very helpful. I would recommend the cambridge to anyone

nice hotel, helpful staff,helped out with flat battery on return. But, not very efficient on reception! Booked a night on my return, directly with hotel. (cost £80 for bed and extra weeks parking!) When I got back, no record of my booking! Luckily they could accomodate me!

There was nothing at all to complain about, excellent value for money, the pick-up from Gatwick was within 15 mins of calling them and the car keys were ready and waiting for us to continue on our journey.

Although didn't use restaurant in hotel (nothing suitable for our children & a bit pricey), there is nothing else close by (within walking distance), although a short drive there is Chinese, pub food, etc. Other than that the room was very good, staff all friendly, no probs with airport transfer or parking. Would definitely recommend / use again.

I would recommend the Cambridge Hotel as a good buy for the accommodation and carparking offer. I've tried a few options at Gatwick and this was the most agreeable (and cheapest!).

staff friendly polite helpfull wake up call offerd and was spot on time so good we stayed on the night of return to save drining in rush so left next morning for a gentle drive home

Would certainly use the Gatwick Cambridge again. Excellent facilities, staff couldn't have been more helpful and also very reliable. It was great to know that the car was safe also whilst we were away.

Great service, transfers were prompt and roomy. The room was very clean although the net curtain in the bathroom window, which on-looks the main road, needed a bloody good wash. Fantastic value for money, you need not look any further for a nice night before you fly off. A good start to our holiday.

Arrived on 18th Nov 2007 for outward flight the next day. Easy to find and very friendly staff on reception. Room nice and clean with all amenities. Swift transport to airport with very friendly and helpful driver. On return from holiday, a quick phone call to the hotel asking for transport gave swift response and we waited no longer than 15 minutes. The information on the card given at reception gave all the enssential details for this service. All in all, a great way to start your holiday with no worries relating to the security of your car etc.

We could not have asked for a better place to stay before we went on our holiday and the transfer service was exceptional. We will definitley be using your accomodation in the future. Many thanks.

Difficult to make a real judgement as we arrived very late at the hotel and left early. We did nothing at the hotel except sleep but found it more than adequate for our needs. There was a lot of renovation work going on around the building which I might have found annoying had I been staying there for a few days. I realise this type of work needs to be carried out but customers could be warned at the time of booking. Regards...Bob

Bad reviews clouded my expectations but the hotel was perfect for a one night stopover, the food in the restaurant was great, the convenience of being close to Gatwick with a regular transfer service combined with the excellent value of two weeks parking make this a definite recommendation.

hotel is now under new ownership ,they are putting alot of money into it but suspect that the prices will go up when work is complete, overall a friendly hotel with good parking even though the surface is a little rough
