It was a very pleasent stay and the staff were very friendly, and we thought it was quite easy on directions to get to as well. We will not hesitate in coming back to stay again.

Our flight was delayed when we arrived back in the UK and was therefore unable to get transport from the hotel to collect our car as this service is not available after 11.00pm. However the hotel was open when we arrived back by taxi and the night porter was more than ameniable.

We just used the hotel and parking offer and all in all it went very well. The rooms and service were great, the transfer to the airport and return went smoothly. The only worry we had is that it was not a secured parking. There is not CCTV or a security guy, so you leave your car at your own risk.

A nice, friendly hotel. Food was very value for money and of good quality. Will be using all the time now.

Air conditioning would have helped as it was a warm night when we stayed, but for the price we paid it was great value for money.

Very good value for money. The hotel is very easy to find and the customer service was excellent. The rooms are very shabby and could really do with renovating but for one night before flying away on hols, I would recommend it.

Hotel is old fashioned but clean, comfortable, and staff are friendly. It is only a few minutes from airport and parking is on site. The mini bus transport to and from the airport is very quick, friendly and efficient so no hanging around after a long flight. Would definitely use them again if we fly from Gatwick.

As we arrived late we did not have much oppertunity to use the hotels facilities, but found the experience easy and simple.

From the minute I booked the room and parking service to when we arrived to when we returned from the holiday we were treated better than anything I have ever experienced. The cost, which includes the airport transfer, is more than reasonable, and we have already recommended it to friends.

We waited 1 hour to be collected from the airport, having travelled overnight for 9 1/2 hours only then to find he could not accommodate us in the van, as he had collected from south terminal first. We had stated there were 8 of us when we called him. Not impressive!

The hotel is lovely to look at. Is elegant inside, rooms are clean, bathrooms are huge and clean, tea making in room, good people at reception very helpful. On return from holiday the pick up was fast and easy to arrange; thanks again for a good experience.

Only 10 minutes from Gatwick, transport was quick clean and available. Took 15 minutes to pick us up from the airport. Car is in a field, next to the hotel. No keys needed to be left, so it was exactly where we left it, in perfect conditon. Would use again.

Those running the hotel are efficient and experienced and exceeded our expectations. I am glad to recommend them and hope they are still going strong when next I need a Gatwick flight and car parking. It should be added that there did not seem to be anyhwere else to eat in the area, so we were gratified to have a good dinner in house.

Customer service is excellent, nothing is too much for the staff and individual attention is given. The food is excellent in both quality and price. Airport transfers are personalised and not charged separately unlike other hotels where you have to get and pay for the shuttle buses, however they only work between 6 am and 10.30 pm. Rooms and hotel really clean, but refurbishment is sorely needed.

Overall, we found this to be an excellent hotel for our purposes. We arrived roughly when we had told them we would, were shown where to park, bags were taken to room for us. We showered, changed and went down to their dining room, which was excellent. Choice and quality of food far better than expected, as was the service. Transport to the airport was by minibus, which is run from 6am to 11.30pm as a free service and only took about 10 minutes. Bags were put in minibus for us. We were dropped at the airport and advised that we would need to phone once we had collected our bags upon our return a week later and the minibus would arrive to pick us up within about 10 minutes. We had a very delayed flight home so telephoned the hotel to warn them. No problem, and no additional charge for the extra night's parking. Upon collecting bags on our return we phoned the hotel, and sure enough, they arrived with the minibus about 10 minutes later. Taken back to hotel, collected car and started our journey home. We would certainly recommend this hotel to anyone wanting to start their holiday at their own leisure. I don't know if it has any star rating, but it deserves at least 4* in our opinion. It's only let-down was the state of the decoration in the rooms, and we understand it is due for refurbishment shortly in any event. For the price, we are convinced you won't beat it.

Handy for the airport transfer, clean hotel rooms good, food reasonable, pick up from the airport on time after a quick phone call, overall ideal for an overnight stay.

This hotel was excellent value for money. While its facilities were basic, as you would expect within its price range, as means of airport parking, particularly for early morning departures it met all of our requirements. The parking space is quite rough in places, but my car was fine on my return and I noticed that the area is being prepared for improvement.

We will certainly use this hotel again. It made a brilliant start to the holiday.
