We were disappointed with the proximity to the airport and found it further than advertised. With two small children and a 5am departure we were dependent on taxis to get us to and from the terminal and for a round trip this cost £25. We could have stayed further away for less in a hotel that provided transfer facilities and therefore avoid the taxi hassle & expense. Despite this I can't fault the dining facilities or the family room which were more than acceptable. I would recommend this hotel if you didn't have little ones and could therefore easily manage the 5 minutes plus walk to the monorail, assuming it was open which it wasn't when we flew out!!

A clean and friendly hotel, a short walk (10mins) from the airport. Good parking. Beer's a bit on the steep side though!

Overall the hotel and facilities were excellent but when we arrived at approx 01:30 in the morning there was no-one on reception and no-one around to ask. There was a party in the bar and it seems the reception staff were doubling as bar staff as well. The gentleman on duty was very polite but obviously a little over stretched so perhaps this needs addressing in future

Was not near the airport it was much too far to walk. Taxi was expensive. Would not use again. Better to pick further hotel with free transfer service.

I have already emailed the hotel direct to thank them for the outstanding customer service. We stayed with them before our flight from Birmingham and everything was wonderful. On our return the snow had landed and we stayed overnight nearby as Ramada Encore was full but they helped with the tel no of the excellent Premier Inn. On returning the next morning to collect our snowbound car, the Receptionist organised warm water in a champagne bucket to unfreeze our locks and then helped with calls to the AA. She then comandeered a colleague to help my husband jump start our car all way above and beyone that expected as "normal" service and we will definitely recommend them to everyone and stay again ourselves. Also really excellent value for money for a family room with car parking for a week so close to the airport - WELL DONE!!!

Brilliant location, very modern clean with decent sized rooms. Staff were very helpful and when I travel again from Birmingham airport I will definately use this hotel again. Used the car park for a week as well and it was secure and spacious.
