Everything from checkin to to the wake up call was as expected and all the staff we encountered (reception and bar) were helpful and courteous

The check in was speedy. The bed was so comfortable and spotlessy clean as were the bathroom and towels. We heard no noise from anywhere around us-peaceful. Just what we needed before a long haul flight. The parking was great, especially as we could take our car keys with us. The driver who picked us up at the airport was so good, he even drove us straight to our car and put the luggage in the boot for us. We were really impressed. Thanks.

Great choice of food from snacks to restaurant food. Room Service was also good with the Apple Granny absolutely delicious!!! Staff were helpful and room was very nice. Only down side - on a lovely comfy bed we had very hard uncomfortable pillows, but that was the only negative. Fantastic location for the Arena too.

The hotel was excellent. We were flying from Birmingham airport and left the car for two weeks. Parking was easy, rooms were excellent and really convenient to get to airport. We didn't use the transfer service as we flew at times when the transfers weren't operating. But only cost £6 in a taxi, which the hotel arranged for us when we checked in.

The rooms are usual for a high quality the hotel chain; clean, well equipped and spacious enough for the short stay. Most importantly for a good night’s sleep the beds are very comfortable. Bar (with casual food) & restaurant available, attentive staff, good food. Not tried a breakfast but no doubt of Crowne Plaza standard. Transfers to airport on time and short trip, very well placed hotel. We left our car in car park, in a disabled space as blue badge holder, they were happy it stayed there, at front of hotel, for the duration. Finally Go Simply has the most economic booking prices even though we are loyalty card members of the hotel chain, GS beat those prices.

No complaints with hotel itself. Staff friendly and helpful. Transfers smooth to airport but on return 20 minutes of ringing couldn't raise airport bus and we had to get a taxi back to the hotel.
