Meet and Greet

Experience a hassle-free beginning and end to your journey when you book a CarParkz driver to meet you at the terminal. Your car will be stored at their secure compound about a mile from the airport. There is a fee of £3.80 payable upon exit of the drop-off area upon your return.

arrival

Call CarParkz approx 30 minutes prior to arrival at the airport to confirm your arrival time. When arriving at the airport head towards the short term car park and go through the ticket barrier. On the right is the designated off airport meet and greet area next to the pay point station where your driver will meet you.

departure

Once you've collected your luggage, phone the car park to advise them of your return and a driver will meet you at the agreed pick up point with your vehicle. Note: There is a £3.80 charge to get out of the Short Stay car park - £4.50 if your car is there for more than 15 minutes. For this reason, it is advisable that you don't call the car park when you return until you're nearly ready to pick up your car.

We had to wait nearly 10 minutes at the car park for the driver to arrive, despite phoning 30 mins before we arrived at Luton airport and then again 10 minutes before we arrived. Again, we had to wait (approx 5 minutes) when we landed back at Luton airport for them to bring the car to us. I always use a meet and greet service when I fly but I will not be using this company again.

This is the first time I have used meet and greet at Luton. As a family of 6 with kids from 2 to 8 I decided it was more of a necessity to use meet and greet. I used CarParkz Meet and Greet . Dropping of was no problem however when I returned it took 40 minutes from phone call to getting my car back. When I complained I was told they had a shortage of staff. Well firstly this is not my problem and secondly they had a week to sort a driver for my car. Usually these things dont bother me but with 4 hyper kids screaming at the pick up point in the cold it was a bad experience.

Firstly, I was travelling at 4.30am and the number I rang didn't get answered, neither did the land-line. I rang the mobile again and everything was OK. Collecting the vehicle I was confused with non-meet and greet customers so, yet again, I wasn't filled with confidence. A few simple administrational/training amendments will sort this OK service into an excellent one - come on guys, get to it!

Issue with driver asking me for more money when i picked up car. The admin had given him completely wrong details and i had to produce receipt to prove it. I was left feeling if this was a ruse to get more money off me.

The greeter was late, we waited 25 minutes for him. He had no form of ID on him, no uniform and was surly and off hand. He demanded our "paperwork", we only had a reference number from our booking. We then received a message when in the airport from the office to say they would not release the car on our return without the "paperwork" as they would not be paid. All together the worst experience we have had with airport parking. we would never use the service again.

Maybe you could tell me if you are part of Alcoa Parking. Last year I parked in the Luton long term and one of the buses sise swiped my car whilst I was away but your insurance has never settled and naturally I'm very upset !!

as good as all the other meet and greet services. However, we don't normally have to pay the driver a pound to take our car out of the drop off zone as in this case. So realistically it costs 1 to 2 pounds more than advertised.

a great value for money and convenient service and cheaper than parking on site at hort term car park at Luton. The drivers were courteous and helpful.

We were very pleased with the service we received and would recommend it to our friends etc. I do however suggest advising your customers in advance that they will need £1 for the drop-off car-park fee - which we did did not have to pay at another airport recently - and it led to a certain amount of scrabbling around for change at the time!
