The site directly across from the terminal building was excellent although on 1st visit it is not clear where you need to go.

If you are travelling with someone else you can drop them off at the terminal with suitcases and then park. If you are on your own and have to park some distance away in the large car park you have to get to the terminal carrying your luggage - sometimes in wet conditions. However the staff are all helpful and courteous.

I was not familiar with the layout of Liverpool airport or where the car park was located - a simple map would have helped. I put my debit card into the machine at the exit of the car park, which did not open the barrier. I had to speak to the attendant. This was not a problem for me but I guess was a fault somewhere in the system. The main issue for me in having to keep using your debit card is to ensure you do not get charged more than once.

Last time I used this airport, there was only the one car park right opposite the terminal. This time, when I arrived the barrier stated the car park was full. Being that I had pre-paid, I found this rather strange. Having driven around the oneway system I tried to enter the carpark again, only this time an attendant came out to me and told me where the 2nd carpark was. On my return, I followed the instructions of inserting my credit card in order to leave the carpark. As the barriers would not raise, I had to contact their attendant by the intercom and try to resolve. This was rather embarrassing considering there was a queue of cars behind me. However, I would use this system again.

Within 5 minutes of reaching Liverpool car park entrance we were in the terminal building. Easy to get in and out with no hassle at all.

Having read previous reviews we knew were to go so no real problem, but the car park could be easily missed. Pre-paying by card makes life very easy, no waiting at machines or finding change. It may be difficult to find a space at peak times. Would use Liverpool on-airport parking again.

Always used to use Manchester. Not now. Liverpool Airport is so much friendlier and being smaller, it isn't so crushed.

Not bad - a bit confusing on arrival because it wasn't clear which car park we were to use or which area. We had to park quite far away from the hub and the walk from the car to the departures was not exactly customer friendly or direct. The luggage trolleys cost £1 deposit (which would have been useful to know beforehand) and I could not see anywhere to collect or deposit them in the car park. This meant that we had to make several trips at both ends of our journey which with departure times and a three year - old in tow was not convenient at all! As for the car security - it was there when we got back so no complaints!

Easy to get to and only a minute's walk from the terminal. Well lit but there can sometimes be a queue for the exit barrier and I have never seen a security patrol.

Overall it was good but felt very uneasy about finding my vehicle in the dark with hardly any light and no security. I left my children in the terminal building and went alone to find the vehicle. Once I'd found it, it was easy to go to the hut. The staff were friendly and helpful.

The only problem i could find was that i had to leave my disabled sticker in my car at liverpool airport but we can now use our badges in europe so if i take my badge with me i get clamped and fined. I there a way where the airport can supply a sticker for the disabled spots so we can take our badges abroad.

Good access to terminal and speedy departure. Need more info re how to check in. On exit machine I read the ticket and did not know it was prepaid. I had to see the attendent and he had to check the reference sheet and number. Maybe needs a machine in the terminal where you put in your ticket and type in the reference number and it stamps ticket for departure.

Good directions until at the car park. Would have been handy to know about the areas A, B etc and the underpass to further areas. We weren't sure we were in the right park until the card was accepted!

Print out final four digits of credit/debit card onto booking confirmation - this way you won't forget the card you used so you can put the correct one into the ticket machine on entry to car park!

Very little saving over what the airport charges.

ALWAYS very difficult to find a space. Often have to park on grass verge, and rough surfaced 'overspill' which is marked for staff only. A long walk from the rear of the car park to the terminal building. Only one barrier usually causes delays on exit. In comparison with car parking at Manchester - less than £10 for a weekend usually, this service at £30 for a weekend represents poor value for money.

I've used the on Airport Car Parking at Liverpool a number of times and always found it excellent value for money and easy to use.
