A great place for an overnight stay prior to your flight from Stansted Airport, Warmans Barn House hotel is a converted 17th century barn located within the airport perimeter. However, this hotel does not allow guests under the age of 18 and family rooms are not available.

A very warm welcome on arrival even though we arrived to check in early, we were asked to wait in the pub over the road and the lady came and found us when our room was ready. The room was very quaint with beams which was a slight problem for my husband who is over 6 foot tall but overall it was clean and comfortable.Transfer collections were very good, requested a 5am pick up which was on time and on our return by the time we walked to the pick up point the taxi was waiting for us.

From the moment we arrived ee were made to feel welcome. The food was excellent although a little pricey. Our transfer arrived in good time and again on our arrival back in the uk. I would definitely recommend this establishment to anyone

We happened across this place by accident & WOW what a find. Friendly, exceptionally clean, easiest ever transfers to airport & so quiet. The only draw back.....cheap pillows which didn't mean the best nights sleep. Having said that we would definiately use this place again but would fold the plentiful towels to put under our pillows.

Good customer service and prompt transfers.
Drinks at the pub are a tad expensive but then it is only across the road - convenient however. Quiet location - but I wasn't there during daylight hours, so it may be different when the planes are flying.
Could have done with a few hooks in the ensuite (Rm 1) - nowhere to hang towels or clothes (and the faulty shower head had the habit of spraying up and over the screen causing the floor, basin and toilet to get soaked - and my PJ's).
If you want convenience and cleaniness near the airport, then this is the place. I would use it again.

The accommodation itself was adequate but be careful what you sign upon arrival. We were asked to sign a document indemnifying the hotel and its staff of any liability if damage to our car occurred whilst parked. Before signing, I felt I should check where the car was being kept (as you hear of horror stories where cars are parked in people's drives or the local b&q). I was told by the member of staff that he couldn't tell me. This is supposed to be a SECURE car park where MY car will be kept, how can it be a problem to tell me where it will be parked when I am trusting them to store it. Upon further probing I was told it was "down the road", so I probed some more and was eventually told outside their head office with cars from members of the public ie not just cars of people on holiday. This vagueness got me asking more questions - so I asked about what insurance the drivers had as they wanted me to hand over my keys to them (not sure where you stand if they have an accident and you have to claim on your insurance). This came back with the same answer - he wouldn't tell me who they were insured by or the level of cover. I didn't think these were unreasonsble questions, so in the end we opted to park in the long stay airport car park to avoid the worry. They may sort out this process and give better answers in the future, but just be careful what you sign.

We were offered a very warm welcome. Checked in and taken to our accommodation. Which was of a very high slandered. We were told of the airport transfer taxi and shown where we would get picked up. We paid for the return taxi back after our holiday and all went very smoothly. We would have no hesitation to use Warmans Barn House Hotel again. It was a first class experience.

Excellent value for money but last check in could be extended to 11.30 pm! I had to rush to be there before 10.30 pm
No breakfast but since I had to go to the airport that's not a big deal
