there was a mix up over transfers to the airport - the taxi used to the airport(checkers) was adamant that we had to pay him and was extremely rude (said he would phone the police) - although the hotel had booked him for us! you need to make sure it is very clear that transfers are inluded to avoid mix ups like this the hotel staff were ok just not that bothered about it all. They were all new. I definitely would not use this hotel again although it was really good value - you just dont need to worry about silly things like transfers - if i had been alone (without my husband)then the taxi driver would have intimidated me. Return journey from the airport was absolutely fine however.

Hotel was easy to find ,the room we had was large could do with an update but ok for what we wanted. We didn't eat there but the menu looked nice, we did have a drink from the very limited bar! Our transfer to and from the airport very prompt. I would certainly use this hotel again.

The long term parking was a bit unexpected - hundreds of cars parked on grass fields - not good when wet and not everyone parks considerately. Also had to carry bags myself as no lift which could prove difficult for some guests. Long delay waiting to be picked up from airport - some people waited over an hour and a half for their taxi although we were told there had been a couple of accidents on the M11 - as the hotel is nowhere near the M11 this did seem a little strange - overall we were more than satisfied with the hotel - not so sure about the parking - would probably use the mid term or long stay airports at Stansted themselves in the future.

A bit difficult to find but good a room, friendly efficient service,adequate parking,easy transfer to/from airport and good value for money.
