transfers to Stansted Airport

Transfers are via the hotel shuttle bus, which runs every 20 minutes from 04.00 to 12.00 and from 16.00 to 00.00. Cost is £2.00 per person each way. The bus operates from bay number 30 from the bus station at the airport. Please note that no transfers are provided between noon and 16.00, nor between midnight and 04.00. If you are travelling during these hours, please contact the Airport Information Desk for advice on available taxis. A local taxi costs approximately £7.00 to the hotel. The hotel shuttle bus will not be running on Christmas Day. It will resume at 2.30pm on Boxing Day.

Parking package includes parking at the secured mid-stay car park within the airport grounds, approx 300 metres from the hotel. You may park your car after checking in. The hotel's shuttle bus offers transfers from the hotel to the terminal. Upon return the shuttle bus transfers back to the car park from the terminal. Parking is at owner's own risk.

The room was cramped with a double bed and a pull out already made up, there was no room to walk around. No free wifi and not paying the ridiculous amount to use it. £75 paid for dinner for 3!!!!! What an absolute rip off and the food was rank, I will now take advantage of my hilton honours account and pay to travel further to an airport in future rather than being ripped off by a holiday inn express.

Very clean quiet and comfortable room. Bed was comfortable. Bathroom modern. Wifi worked well. Only drawback was that the air conditioning was a bit noisy in the night. We heard a tiny bit of aircraft noise but no traffic. Parking was on the hotel site, so no dropping off the car or picking it up elsewhere after our trip. breakfast was ok but nothing for my gluten and dairy free friend Coffee at breakfast was instant so disappointing for me Transfer to and from airport was quick and prompt and priced ok Staff helpful and friendly Lovely view from our room of birds and rabbits was a bonus in the morning!

hotel was clean and comfy. Staff very helpful. We stayed overnight as had an early flight. We did a stay and park deal for a week. Car parking was easy and we got the hotel bus in morning to the airport. Really easy. Would defintely do this again if flying from Stanstead.

We drove down from Yorkshire for an early flight the next day. The hotel is situated very close to the airport and the arrangements between the hotel and the parking is excellent. We ate at the hotel and the staff were efficient and the food was good for a fast turn round hotel. The rooms were clean and comfortable and when we got back in the dark and rain we had the misfortune of a flat battery and the customer service in the carpark was second to none with a free AA service within 10minutes to get us on our way. Well done Stanstead!

The hotel room was very clean and comfortable, I would definately stay again... However it was badly let down by its food and barstaff.. They were not very pleasant and sort of grunted taking our order.. For the food itself it was very poor and basic. Overdone chips that must have been cooked hours before they were served to us and the bacon on my burger was burnt to crisp.. My husbands steak was okay, but he was still hungry after the kiddies porion..

A good practical solution to catch early flights making the experience at Stansted not quite so stressful. The hotel performed on all but food, which was little more than pub type grub. Nonetheless, will return as room, shower, transfer (costs 2 GBP pax) and all other facilities were more than adequate. So in general happy.
