Radisson Blu Stansted Airport

2nd time we have used the Radison Blu Hotel at Stansted and certainly will not be the last. Its great to book in the night before we fly to N cyprus a few times a year have a fantastic nights sleep and just get up and wander over to the terminal without facing the drive up in the morning when you never know what the motorways will be like. Staff really friendly and efficient. Together with the parking it is well worth the money.

I expected a little more from a Radisson Blu. The room decor is garish and some of the hall carpets were heavily stained. We booked a room with parking and my boyfriend had to appeal a ticket. Not great customer service, but the hotel employess were professional and helpful.

The staff were welcoming and explained everything on check in and the concierge dealt with the car parking in an efficient and friendly manner on departure and arrival back to the UK. The time saved in not having to get a shuttle bus or struggle with luggage was an added bonus we will definitely be using this hotel again when travelling from Stansted

Very few things in life pleasantly surprise anymore. Staying at the Radisson Blu was just that. A pleasant surprise. I chose the park and fly option - its only a little bit more expensive than Valet parking and the hotel, the ambience ranging from the superb 'fabric' of the hotel to the acrobatic display over the bar to the excellent New York Grill restaurant and helpful, pleasant staff were a huge surprise. Especially in an age where we have come to expect little. I was utterly gobsmacked. The parking was excellent and my car was waiting for me on my return. The Hotel only being a minutes walk to the terminal under the shelter all the way couldnt be better. This weekend I am going to Spain, leaving early and staying there again. I wish I had done it years ago. I will certainly be a regular and urge everyone who reads this to stay there. Compared with Holiday Inns etc there is literally NO comparison - absolutely none. This place is in a league of its own and tremendous value. If you hadnt already guessed I really liked my stay.

The staff were most helpful. Slightly pricey, but the fact that it is right next to the terminal makes for a very relaxed early morning flight. The room was too hot, however, and the air-conditioning not powerful enough to cope. Will use the hotel again, though, as it is oh-so convenient for those red-eye flights.

An excellent experience. Beautifull interior, excellent service, friendly staff. The best way to start your yourney and holliday.

The hotel was of a high standard and the staff very helpful. The room was spacious, clean and in good order. The bed was huge!!

We have stayed a number of times for 'overnighters' because of the simplicity of getting to the airport, the facilities at the hotel and the ease of parking and retrieving car. Will now always do it this way, even if the flight isn't an early one.

It was a wonderful hotel with friendly staff and a good selection of restaurants. The parking was quick and simple and incredible value for money. I would definately reccommend this hotel to anyone flying in or out of stansted!

Having booked through necessity our stay at Radisson Blu Stansted was an unexpected delight. We arrived from temperatures in the thirties for one night prior to an early flight home. It was 10pm, cold and raining. All we needed was easy access to the hotel, a swift check in and a good albeit brief nights sleep. All three requirements were fulfilled. Less than 5 minutes walk with a laden luggage trolley. A friendly welcome, a swift check-in, a well appointed room and an unbelievably quiet night. It was a quality experience which definitely makes Stansted a viable future departure option for us even though we live 15 minutes from Newcastle airport.
