Hotel car park was full. Had to unload and move the car to airport parking - await bus and return to hotel. Bit of a pain after a day on the road. Morning transfer to terminal scheduled at 20 min intervals. I wanted the 0500 bus. It showed up at 0510 and then waited till 0520 before departing. If I'd needed the 0520 bus, I'd have travelled at 0520 - a few minutes make all the difference on early departures from Stansted.

I arrived and was a sold a ticket on the shuttle bus, I was then informed that I would need to move my car out of the hotel to the midterm car park, I pointed out if this was the case I would have my shuttle fare back and move my car in the morning and catch the midterm shuttle bus. (By this point it was late and I did not want move the car.) The receptionist refused! It was only when I asked to see the manager that the situation was resolved and I was 'allowed' to park at the hotel. Moral of this-before buying a shuttle ticket check where you will be parking!

I would not chose to travel from Stanstead, as Birmingham is our first choice. However, the Express by Holiday Inn option, with parking, made the experience considerably better

I booked and paid for 8 days' parking but I don't have a car. Perhaps the booking page should be modified so this mistake isn't made so easily.

The parking was offsite from the hotel; which should really have been stated before booking. The hotel bus driver at beginning was dangerous, moving off violently whilst passengers were trying to stow heavy luggage, causing 2 people to fall. Otherwise, a good hotel experience; convenient and of a fair standard.

hotel and parking for the price of just parking,nice hotel,5 minutes to terminal with hotel transfers.a must if you have an early flight.

The overall stay was satisfactory but we found Reception staff to be "surly" and not particularly helpful. On the contrary, the gentleman who was on duty in the Breakfast Room at 6.00am was cheerful and helpful.

The only problem was there was not a courtesy bus to take us back to the hotel at 12 noon and we had to get the courtesy bus to the mid stay car park and cross the dual carriage with our children and luggage to get back to the hotel to collect our car.

Easy, especially the mid stay car parking. It all ran smoothly. No check-out required in the morning as we had already paid, which was handy as we had to get the 04:20 transfer to the airport.

This was excellent value for money, less than £100 for a family of 4 overnight bed and breakfast including 8 days free parking at the airport! Hotel was very clean and bathroom in room of very high standard.

I belive you should make your clients more aware that the parking is in an airport car park rather than the hotel itself. Had it been raining I would not have appreciated the inconvenience having already taken time to find a convenient parking place in the hotel's car park. On our return everything worked like clockwork - thank you.

I used the option to book the unspecified hotel but as it was from Stanstead and I wanted parking, only 4 were available on any of the websites so I had worked out which one it was. I use The Holiday Inn chain quite a lot and have always found them acceptable - this one at £79.99 including breakfast for 3 people and up to 8 days parking was very good.

Can't say much as our flight was delayed and we only spent 5 hours asleep at the hotel, arriving late and leaving early. Bed was claen and comfortable and the shower was hot and powerful.

Hotel was modern, clean, quiet and served its purpose for the overnight stay before our early morning flight. Because its on the perifery of the airport there were no other places to eat and we did find the hotel menu limited and fairly expensive. But the price, including parking, was very competative and the transfer to the terminal the following morning very fast and efficient.

Very good hotel ...great for night before an early start flight. Not much around here so arrive late and use the bar. Could be a lonely place if you were here by yourself and too early and had parked the car in the mid-term car park.

I phoned for the bus to take me back to the hotel from the car park when I arrived - I was told the bus would be 5 minutes. I waited about 1/4 hour and was told one was coming - it was but I was freezing in the bus stop - I was told before I went that it would take 5 minutes or so. The children waiting for me back at the hotel were concerned as I had taken so long. Apart from that the collection from the airport and transport back to the car park and checking out of the car park were really good.

Friendly, clean hotel. As we arrived at 2pm would have appreciated some form of snack from the kitchen although there were various items in the machines. We waited with great anticipation for 6pm to arrive when we had a truly wonderful meal.

Although the bus service from the airport to the hotel is free, there is a fee to use it to get from the hotel to the airport. The early morning complimentary breakfast was perfect - I was impressed at being able to grab some toast and a cup of tea at 5:45am.

I found the inclusive price for hotel and parking hassel free, with the added convenience of knowing that our car was accessable for us on our return from holiday only 10 mins from the doors of the airport, ready to exit onto the motorway.
