The bedroom was unbearably hot, and despite repeated requests for a fan, this was not delivered. I had to keep on chasing the staff and no-one bothered to call me back. There was a wedding party on in the hotel and due to the heat and smoking regulations, many of the guests sat outside, causing a lot of noise, arguments and fighting. I called down to reception repeatedly from 1am through until 3am asking for them to manage the noise and the problems with the guests and this was not done. I was threatened by the wedding guests, as they 'wanted to sort me out' as they could not see a problem fighting and making a noise well into the early hours of the morning. The hotel did not manage this problem at all! My bedroom reached 37 degrees and I was actually ill with it. I was told the following day when I complained that 'I should have been moved to another bedroom and that I should never have been put into a bedroom overlooking the area where wedding guests would congregate'. Quite obviously the hotel is well aware of the problems and issues and still do nothing to manage the problem. I was extremely disappointed and would not use the hotel or recommend it to anyone.

Have stayed at Etrop Grange before, as well as other airport hotels, but find the ease of everything from checking in to being collected from airport a pleasure.
