We recommend using the directions provided and an up-to-date map to locate the hotel.
From the North:
- Exit the M60 at Junction 7 and join the A56 Cross Street, following the signs for Altrincham.
- Stay on this road for approximately 3 miles (this road changes its name to Washway Road and then Manchester Road).
- On the left-hand side you will see The Old Pelican Inn. Pull into the car park and the hotel is directly behind the pub.
From the South:
- Exit the M6 at Junction 19 and join the A556, signposted to Knutsford and Altrincham.
- Stay on this road and it joins the A56, still heading towards Altrincham (the A56 takes you through Altrincham, heading towards Manchester).
- Approximately 2 miles from Altrincham, you will go through a set of traffic lights with a Toyota Car Showroom on your left.
- Approximately 100 yards after the lights you will see The Old Pelican Inn.
- Turn right into the pub entrance and the hotel is located behind the pub.

we booked about 12 weeks in advance so got it for £30 for the room for the night we used the train to man airport (recomended)but bewhere taxi to and from airport now costs £35! but the hotel is very nice staff very helpful rooms clean and warm good shower/loo kettle and coffie/tea in room if you want any more coffie etc you can get more from reciption.its a 2 story building no lift so luging your suitcase up 2 flights of stairs may be a stuggle also there are yellow sercurty lights on all night and these do shine into your room a bit evean with curtion closed.also pub next door has meals at £10 for 2 and there billient!!beers also good pub is not nosiy at all.as we came in a taxi i cant say what its like to find if your getting here by car there is a lagre car park and the lodge is in a c shape with car park in middle lighted up looks like it gets full quick so if you come by car get here as soon as you can all in all i would recomend the altringham lodge for a overnight stay.

We were extremely impressed with the hotel and service we received, the rooms were quiet,clean and well equipped, and the reception staff were very welcoming and helpful. I would use this hotel again and recommend it to others. Well done for providing such good service at a very competitive price!

We stayed at Altrincham Lodge for 1 night prior to an early morning flight from Manchester Airport.
Check in was smooth and pleasant and an early call booked.
We were given a ground floor room which although small was more than adequate for an overnight stay. Tea and coffee making facilites were provided. The bed was comfortable and the linen fresh and clean. The bathroom itself was clean with plenty of good towels,the only downside was the shower which had black mould round the shower tray, but we were only there overnight so I closed my eyes to it.
Overall, good value for an overnight stay wth the added attraction of only being 10 minutes from the airport.
The pub next door serves excellent food.

Easy to book. Directions could do with being a bit clearer and more specific - we haven't go the luxury of sat-nav!! Excellent check in. Room clean and tidy. Bed comfy. Bonus having pub next door with good priced meals and good choice of beer. Check what time the food is being served though or you could go hungry! Very obliging however, and served a meal to us even though they had stopped serving at 9pm and we were told 9.30 - 10.00pm when we booked. Would certainly use again and recommend.

Stayed at the Lodge for 1 night before flying out from M/C Airport. Receptionist Marilyn was full of personality and very helpful in all aspects of our stay. Very convenient for the Metro into Manchester, comfortable room and the food at the adjoining Pub was delicious and even more enjoyable at the 2 meals for 1 deal. Would definitely recommend the Lodge to future Guests. Thank you to all concerned. Joe & Glenda Molloy.

We booked this hotel to stay the night before we travelled from manchester airport. The hotel was very good value with clean comfortable rooms. The hotel is about 10 mins from the airport. There is a pub attached to the hotel which serves good cheap food etc. We were so impressed we booked the return night from our holiday so that we could get a good nights sleep and travel home safely. The staff even brought out a can of deicer and offered to deice the windscreen of the car!!!
