On arriving back we had to wait 20 mins for bus to arrive (that's life) but then it went to North terminal where it fought the traffic jams twice around before going to car park. That took 30 mins and 50 mins overall. I needed that like a hole in the head. Quicker to walk!!

Car park was fairly easy to find arrival procedure was straight forewood bus transfer was less than 5 mins with a very helpful bus driver. No complaints, the whole procedure was straight foreward and our car was ready to go within minutes of arriving back at the parking facility on our return to the UK. Excellent value no hasle.

I was 30 mins late back from the airport to pick up my car and they charged me an extra day for it! i wasnt too happy as yes was slightly my own fault but there were problems at the airport with the baggage. they could of been a little nicer and let me off the full charge of £7.60 or even half of it out of kindness. i found them very rude and will unfortunately not be using them again!

We made this booking on-line as it was at a competitive price. Unfortunately our return flight was delayed, making our collection time later then stated,through no fault of our own. We then had to pay you an extra £7.40 before we could collect our car. We have used several of the longstay car parks around both Gatwick and Heathrow, and we have never been asked to pay any extra costs due to flight delays. So, taking into consideration that our next long-haul flight in Aug 07 could unpredictably be delayed I feel I will probably not use your services again.

although we came back earlier than we expected and we noticed on the receipt ticket we should have given 12 hours notice, there were no problems at all. thankyou to all the staff. will use courtlands again later in year. thanks once again. mr. and mrs. dearlove

The route into and out of the carpark is too out of the way, and not very well sign posted. Even though the carpark is right next to the airport. In addition, the coach waited around for about 30 mins on the outbound journey, which was way too long. Coaches should run more frequently and not wait for people just because they're not all ready to board it.

This was a very easy service to find on the internet and consequently use. In our experience it was convienent and as we were travelling on a bank holiday far cheaper than the alternatives offered...i.e by rail or taxi!! The most time we waited for our pickup was 10mins and as we arrived back very late at night/morning it was so stress free. Would definately use you again and reccomend your service.

The airline I returned to Gatwick with gave me wrong arrival time therefore I arrived to pick my car up just less than 1 hour later than stated on my booking form through no mistake of mine. When I booked with Courtlands it wasn't clear that there would be a penalty if I arrived after the stated time. I explained the mistake was the airlines and that I was only less than 1 hour late and I showed my flight booking form to the Courtlands representative who said he wouldn't release my car key until I paid £7 surcharge. He wasn't interested in seeing my booking form, would not listen to any explanation and was only interested in collecting the fine. He obviously didn't have the authority to overlook the charge so I paid and collected the key. All the car parks I have used have had some leeway to take into account delays. The rep also forgot to give me the yellow slip which the gate man requires at the exit to let the cars out. No yellow slip, no exit. This resulted in a traffic jam at the exit until I could get all the cars behind me to back up so that I could turn around and return for my yellow card. This delayed my journey back home by another 30mins. All in all a very bad experience and one which I definitely won't be repeating. I have used every other car park at Gatwick and shall make sure next time it will not be with Courtlands.

It all worked smoothly. It is not clear from your documentation that the phone call to Courtlands on arrival does not seem to be normally necessary It is unfortunate that the Motorway is not more easily accessed on exit, but your signage is now much improved, both entering and departing.

Walked to the airport on arrival as there was no bus waiting at the time, although to be fair the trafic was very busy and it was probably quicker. Our plane was an hour late arriving back so we picked up our vehicle 40 minutes late. A very stern unhappy lady made us pay an extra £7.20!!!!!!! We also waited 20 minutes to be picked up from terminal 2.

Parking at Courtlands was a pleasure. The car park was easy to find, well organised and lit and seemed to have quite a few security cameras. It was also very close to the terminal buildings. Transfer times were much shorter than advertised (1 min to South terminal, 5 mins to North) I only had to wait 1 mintue for transport to the airprot and 4-5mins on return (8pm). Excellent. Drivers were very helpful and didn't drive like loons. Highly recommended. I would definately use again.

Checked car in within 2 minutes and walked to Gatwick airport in 5 minutes. When I returned I walked back to Courtlands and recieved my key within 1 minute, back in the car 1 minute later. Did not take bus as I had lots of cases and sleeping kids. Only downside for me was that it takes longer to drive from Parking to terminal than walk.

After getting back from the holiday it was diificult to find the stand which the bus went from and I caught the first coach only to be taken to another car park. it turned out six different bus/coachs use the same stand. On a good point the "wrong" bus driver dropped me off at the right car park on his way back to the airport.

Faultless departure - easy check-in, and bus left 2mins after checking-in car. Seemed like ages to wait for our pick-up on arrival, but in truth was about 20mins. Very courteous staff and speedy transfer between car-park and airport. Would use again.

Having returned from a 9 hour flight telephoned office to advise of arrival and informed that bus would collect in 5 minutes. Reported to stop 12 as indicated, an APH bus pulled up and passengers alighted. The Courtlands bus pulled into stop 11, stopped very briefly and before we could make our way to alight, the driver pulled off. Telephoned office and advised that it would be another 20 minutes before the next bus, despite our protestations and the fact that it was difficult to understand the staff, it was suggested that it would be quicker to walk to collect the car - which we did, in the rain. On arrival at depot, the office personnel apologised, the driver claimed that he had stopped at 11, then pulled into 12. I refused to get into an argument. Had it not been for this unfortunate experience, I would have rated Courtlands very highly indeed.

After pick up from South terminal we went to the North Termail to drop off passengers (I thought this did not happen) We got stuck in traffice at the North terminal and it took 50 mins to the car park, this after a 21 hr journey. I was also two hours over the time on my ticket, I was charged an extra £7.60? an excessive charge for two hrs. The plane was three hours late as well as the added 50 mins by yourselves.

One of the reasons I booked this was the 'disabled facilities'. The only disabled facilities was the toilet! The staff watched me struggle with a wheelchair and luggage! The disabled ramp on the coach on our outward journey was broken and my Mother had to walk on the bus. On the return journey we had to wait approx 30 mins for transport, but the driver was very helpful. The staff the other end once again watched me struggle. To use the phrase 'disabled facilities' should be changed to 'disabled toilet but no other facilities or help from disinterested staff'. Reading your 'important information' below I am sure my comments won't show on the web site!!

Arrived at 11.30pm with 2 very young children and had to wait in frezing cold whilst son-in-law walked about car-park looking for car. Would have liked it too have been parked nearer to bus stop especially as the children were very young. The transfer bus was very crammed in on both journeys, had to sit with luggage to stop it falling over, With 2 pushchairs 3 suitcases, 2 small children and 3 adults it was a job to get everything in place.

Fair service for the cost but journey to and from terminal seemed rather long considering how close the park is to the south terminal and no help loading baggage onto the coach which would have been appreciated as I had a disabled passenger in my party.

On arriving at office we were told that they did not have a bus running to the North Terminal, as this service would not be starting until a week after our departure. On arriving back to the UK from the USA we were left hanging on the phone for 4-5 mins as they had forgotton about us, which was evident when they asked what we wanted.
