I've used quite a number of lounges and this one was better than average, but not quite as good as some of the high quality one. But then you get what you pay for. We were first in the lounge that morning and there was no one there to meet us. We just went and helped ourselves to drinks and someone finally appeared and said 'Oh, we've got cutomers' and took our booking form. A little bit more customer service would have been nice, but on the whole it was worth the money and peace from the rabble.

You get the review you deserve. I am still awaiting a response to my complaint about a pre-booked (intimate, lovely and quiet) Wentworth Lounge pass which led to me being bounced without even an apology from the closed lounge to the scruffy, larger and more impersonal Ascot Lounge which I particularly did not want to be in. There is no point in selecting a specific and preferred lounge only to be consolidated elsewhere at 1400 - for nothing more than the convenience of the operators who claimed it was not opening until 1700.

I was saddened on arrival at the lounge. On entering there was no-one at the reception desk. Eventually a man came and I gave him the reference number for my booking but he told me he had no reference for my booking! Why was there no record? He insisted that I had to give him a paper receipt and I had to go online on my netbook to forward the receipt. I don't appreciate the wait and the stress of not being believed just added stress to what is meant to be a "stress-free experience"! Having used business class lounges in the past I found this lounge a poor relation.

First of all Wentworth was closed. There was no notice about how to access Ascot lounge or whether I could even do that. I had to ask at the Emirates lounge desk for help. The snaks were not what I expected. The drnks on offer were better in the sense of variety and abundance. Overall, I was a little disappointed with the service and the catering.

Quite disappointed as there was not a photo of the Ascot lounge so that we could see what it looked like before booking,if the Wentworth is not available.

The seats were not very comfortable, the food wasn't very good (really awful orange juice), not too many facilities. It was quiet and peaceful. Probably wouldn't bother using the Wentworth Lounge again.

Very good value for money. A lovely relaxing atmosphere, all the snacks and drinks you could ask for and my husband was very excited about the playstations in the childrens area!
