i would use the lounge every time, it gives you time to relax before your flight. its great value for money with good facilities a winner for me !!

The whole experience was smooth and hassle free. It made an enjoyable start to our silver wedding anniversay celebrations.

Staff were very good and the lounge was very relaxing with a wide range of refreshments!

receptionist somewhat frosty and terse, however lounge faciity clean, calm and pleasant. Plentiful supply of refreshments and light snacks, unobtrusive TV and condusive to reading/working prior to flight. will return.

a) Beer and soft drinks fridge was not cold (or recently stocked up and existing drinks not put in front). b) Our table was not cleared throughout our 2hr odd stay. Glasses and wrappers accumulated on our table and as passengers left, their table were never cleared. New arrivals had to dispose of rubbish. c) Lounge rules stated No children under 12 allowed. Several children were present of various ages under 12. 2 were playing quite loudly and fast walking around. d) Male toilets were in an unacceptable state. At the time of my second visit there was toilet paper laying torn all over the floor and items supplied in the facilities laying around (I presume due to children playing!?!) This was our first time in a VIP lounge and totally unacceptable. It is a shame as we were especially looking forward to a new and hopefully ongoing experience. We could not recommend your lounge to anyone for the above reasons. PS A few more varied and interesting magazine could be provided. Not all are business travellers which seemed to make up from the most of the reading matter. Gary Bower 07831280688

This is the second time we have used the Aviance Lounge at the start of our holiday and it is definately the perfect start. Its comfortable and quiet and allows us to have a nice light breakfast having been travelling for two hours in a taxi normally leaving home in the early hours. We have two teenage girls and the lounge allows us to sit together comfortably without trying to recover them from the main departure lounge when the Boarding Gate appears!

The lounge is a peaceful space to relax while waiting on your flight. Having an over 12's policy is a benefit to those travellers without young children. The chairs are comfortable enough, but have very low, hard backs so if you are there for a while, it's not so good for getting some sleep.

The lounge is clean and the staff are very helpful. There are no views of the runway as with some lounges but overall it is a good place to get away from the crowds. Drinks are as expected and well presented but food is savory snacks and fruit with no hot food options. I would use this lounge again from the North Terminal.

A lovely start to your holiday or trip, to spend a couple of hours in a very relaxed enviroment with food drink and peaceful surroundings,we will most certainly use again.

Comfortable and Convenient - made our 1 hour delay easier to deal with

This was the first time we had used the Aviance Lounge at Gatwick and was very pleased with the service we had. Nice and comfy, no kids, plenty to eat and drink! Well worth the money and we will be using the lounge next time we fly from Gatwick

Was slightly concerned on arrival when I handed over my booking confirmation and was told I was only booked for one passenger, but thankfully they then spotted it was for 2, but there was no apology. Selection of snacks was pretty limited and in the event we did not spend long in the lounge, but overall it was a good experience and would recommend.

The representative on duty in the lounge was very helpful. She really appeared to take her job seriously replenishing the snacks and keeping an eye on the drinks, newspapers etc. I will definitely book the lounge again.

nice small, cosy lounge,which my party of four persons enjoyed very much. great place to relax and unwind before our long flight, will certainly return.

worth every penny for the comfort compared to the regular departure lounge

It was nice to be away from the bustle of the airport. We had a good array of snacks and drinks, all self serve. Will definitely book again.
