Reception area very nice, helpful staff. Room very basic, rather shabby and stained, claustrophobic with window too high. We were nextdoor to lift which disturbed us all night. Parking easy and easy walk over to airport. Would use again for price and convenience, but NOT next door to lift!

The hotel bedroom was in need of refurbishment but was nice and clean. Had a nice buffet meal before bedtime - and at a reasonable cost!! The only problem was car parking. The car park was really full but we eventually found (the second last vacant space) at the rear of the hotel which was dark and could be quite scary if a lone female had to park there. All in all though - good value for money. Only five minutes walk (if that) from the airport and there were lots of airport trollies available.

room was too warm radiator was turned off but pipes running through room were red hot.Food I had was very average.Difficulty finding parking space.Staff were friendly and helpful

very good value for money a very short walk to the terminal, however if you are staying during the summer months the rooms are very hot and do not have air con or a circulation fan.

Good car parking close to hotel. Warm,friendly and helpful staff on reception both in evening and next morning. A good, half price full english breakfast deal offered even though we had not originally booked breakfast. We were able to walk to airport, check our bags in and come back to the hotel for a leisurely breakfast. Small but comfortable room which had extra sound insulation from triple glazing which ensured a very quiet night's sleep. We would not hesitate to fly from Newcastle again and stay at the Brittania. It's the best start to a holiday abroad that we have ever had.

On site for the airport which is very handy. Nice clean rooms and service was very good.Had an enjoyable bar meal at a reasonable price. All in all very satisfied with the price for 2 weeks parking and an overnight stay before I travelled. Highly recommended.

Small double bed. Room small hot and stuffy. Heating locked on "on" despite it being a fairly warm night. windows opened only a few inches. I will never visit this hotel again.

we chose to park in hotel car park for duration of our holiday. We did find a space on the grass verge, but clearly space within the car park is at a premium, even though you book in advance.

Clean recently decorated room. Pleasant bar area, though limited seating available. Adequate car parking.

With the airport parking business being such a rip-off these days its good to have an overnight stay at a reasonable hotel and park the car for a week or a fortnight at a reasonable price. We've used Britannia before and will do so again. They'll organise a taxi if you want one but you can walk from the hotel to the airport in less than 5 minutes - perfect.
