Would certainly use this hotel again for visits to the Newcastle area - not central but it suited our needs for accommodation prior to an early flight from Newcastle Airport.

Really disappointed that this came up in the search of an airport hotel with parking facilities as it did not have transfer to the airport and we had to pay for taxis. Had I known this prior to booking I would not have stayed.

The airport was easy to find, and fairly modern. The staff were excellent, and mostly polite and helpful. The hotel is starnded in the middle of nowhere, but cannot complain really. It is on more than one floor, and should have a lift to help with luggage & prams upstairs - however it does not! The leaisure facilities were clean, but could perhaps do with a bit of refurbishment. I did not share that the opinion that the parking was "secure". Neither was the long term parking well lit, though it may have had CCTV, but who could tell? The transfer vehicle was filthy inside. The seats seemed clean enough, but the bulkheads etc had not been white for a long time. The same graffiti that was in it on departure was still there upon our return! Otherwise, no complaints. What we saved by cheaper flights from NCL more than covered the cost of the hotel.

The only thing I can complain about is the price of breakfast - there was a special price on the board at reception - when I asked about it, I was told just to turn up for breakfast. However, when I queried it after eating the lovely breakfast was told I should have asked reception for a voucher the night before!!!!!

This hotel was superb, upon arriving late at night, we were a bed short and a member of staff found one and even made it up, then upon returning from the holiday my car would not start, once again a member of stafff was more than helpful and soon I was on the road home!

The room was clean and on suite facilities good. The staff at reception were expecting us, we were soon settled into our room. We booked onto transport to the airport and an early morning call before retiring. The minibus was waiting to take us to the airport, and once back in the country and we had our cases, the mini bus picked us up within 15mins of calling the hotel to say we were back. All this for only £15 more on top of the 15days airport parking. We would definitely do it again. Outstanding value!
