electricians were working on a whole corridor in the hotel, which meant no power for all the rooms - i was given a free drink in the bar while waiting - but had to insist on being given another room as it was getting later in the evening and i had a very early flight - i was given one in the end - probably shouldn't have needed to ask - but otherwise good hotel for early flights

Rooms three hours late in being ready for guests. A promised adjoining room for a relative who required assistance was not available as promised. The room when ready had a strong smell of damp in it from a faulty fridge. Transfer bus to airport had a 15 minute delay in arriving. On return car was found to be damaged- glovebox on passenger side?- had its door broken. Car seemed to have travelled quite a few miles whilst we were away.

booked hotel online, with printed confimation. arived at hotel ,they only had us booked for 1 double room when we booked 2 doubles but were charged for 2 online. not happy ! they found a second executive room which made up for it but what would they have done if they were fully booked ? my advice phone before you arrive to confirm your "online confirmation".also get a meal from the bar not the restaurant unless you loaded! bar meal club sandwich fantastic !

No resturant available when we landed and Breakfast seemed like it had been on the hotplate for hours. The hotel to airport Transfer service though was excellent and Hotel room was just what was required after a long journey.

the night at the hilton extended our hol and the parking included it was very good vallue we didnt eat but we sat in the bar in the evening and relaxed with drinks we did this last year because we had night before check in which is really good you dont need to be in the airport till one hour bafore so if you are travelling long haul you dont need to get up in the middle of the night well worth it

Transfers to and from the Airport were excellent, impossible to complain about this portion of our experience.

Hotel was easy to find. Family room for 3 excellent. Staff and transfer to airport excellent. Exactly 22 miles recorded on clock for car transfer to secure facility as quoted. Quick pick up after arriving back from holiday.

Great hotel, fantastic luxury room. Staff very friendly. Car drop off service is great - very straight forward, easy to use and we literally transferred cases from the boot of the minibus into the boot of my car when we returned. We'll definitely use this service again.

Despite having booked a double room (it was our 1st wedding anniversary) we were put in a twin and it was only after complaining that we were put in a double, which was supposed to be a higher grade but was really rather outdated.

The hotel is handy to airport and remarkably quiet despite its close proximity to the airport. Staff were friendly and helpful too; courtesy coach was great.

It was a great way to start our holiday. We got personal directions from our address straight to the hotel in Manchester. We live in Glasgow so this was a great help. I'd recommend it to anyone. I'll certainly be doing it again.

Have used the Hilton before when going abroad - starts our Holiday off in style! Plus we have our parking arranged. Rooms are high standard, the restaurant is great - we usually have the three course buffet, which is excellent value and high standard. Staff are very helpful, transfer to Airport is easy and the pickup painless after a tiring journey, your car is ready and waiting for you.

Excellent hotel, but we booked a triple room and there was only a double bed and a pull out sofa, which we didn't really mind however we had to ask reception 3 times to come and make up the bed and it was late when a porter came to make it and didn't know what he was doing!

Very good all round - except as mentioned the price of food and drinks in the hotel is ridiculous - only equalled in my experience by the Hilton Metropole at Birmingham NEC/Airport. A real rip off just because you cant go anywhere else!

Location, value for money, room service, quality of food were all excellent. Ideal place to stay the night before an early flight. Inclusive parking offers great value for money. Would advise you to inform hotel beforehand if you need sofabeds making up - we didn't and had to wait with tired kids whilst these were prepared.

From arriving at the Hilton, booking the car in, dining there Saturday evening, wakeup call Sunday morning, transfer to and from Terminal 2, the service and courtesy from all staff was faultless. The smoothest, most hassle free start and finish to my holiday. TO BE HIGHLY RECOMMENDED. Many thanks.

A very clean, comfortable room; beautiful bathroom with complimentary goodies. The tea, coffee and biscuits were also very much appreciated. We would recommend this hotel to anyone. The only downside was the £17.50 for breakfast! Which we thought was quite expensive.

I was staying during the holiday season and there was a large party going on. My room was a non-smoking room but there seems to have been party goers smoking in the hallway and/or smoking in the room next door. If not for the party, this would have been a sufficient night's stay.
