I was not happy as on arriving at the Chiltern at 10pm I was informed there was a problem with the room and told we had been booked into another hotel, when we finally arrived at the other hotel we were told that the lift was broken and our room was on the top floor (attic) the room was cold, the shower pressure was rubbish and in the end we left at 3am as we were not able to sleep. It would have been nice if the Chiltern could have rang us so we could decide whether to cancel and drive to the airport from home or chose our own alternative accommodation

Our room was very good for the price we paid. We had a little problem of being late for breakfast, after we were told it was available untill 10am. But the staff sorted us breakfast in our room. That went down very well with my girlfriend feeling like a queen. Parking at the hotel and at the airport were very good. We were given a map with directions to the airport parking. Easy. Will for sure be using this hotel again. Many thanks to Joanna and Elen on the desk.

We booked for an airport hotel/parking option. Found out that parking was off hotel site so you need to drive from hotel to other parking then get a bus to airport, all takes 3/4 hour. Hotel is dated, needs complete re-decoration, consequently not the best value for money.
