Sofitel Hotel reviews

The Sofitel is in a fantastic location - great for an overnight stay when you have a next day flight or connection to catch. Only five minutes from the hotel room to the check-in desks!!! We usually jump on the Gatwick Express for a evening in London to see a West End show, enjoy a meal or just visit a few nice pubs. We have tried other nearby 'gatwick' hotels only to get snarled up in motorway traffic or experience hotel transfer problems.

Expensive but worth it for the convenience. Staff were friendly and helpful and lots of dining choices for an airport hotel. The car is collected after you have parked at the hotel and then it is brought to you after you have landed. It was good to be able to just walk through to the airport in the morning especially as we had already checked in for the flight the night before. Much more relaxing than usual.

My stay was brief but most enjoyable. The hotel staff were friendly, professional and courteous. The room was extremely comfortable with all the amenities I needed.

On arrival we were greeted by a friendly member of staff who helped unload luggage and saw to our car. Smooth check in with pleasant staff on reception the room was clean and inviting. The food was good value for what we ate (when you take in to consideration it is an airport). Well presented & above all more than eatable! The appointment of this hotel made it easy to check in our luggage the night before our flight this saved time in the morning so we could go strait to security and relax before boarding, the check out process was exhalant just drop of your room cards & form in a box. This was a really good experience to the start a really good holiday.

despite being on airport and by monorail, there was no intrusive noise. the bed was the most comfortable i have ever slept in. the monorail link to the other terminal gives you the full facilities of the airport. the staff were very helpful, and i will use this in preference to the Hilton in future.

The Sofitel hotel in Gatwick airport is the place to stay- I'd recommend it to anyone who needs a clean, central and comfortable place to stay in Gatwick. It couldn't be beaten for value for money;simply put- a luxury experience that doesn't engender penury!

A comfortable hotel with the convenience of a direct link to the terminal. Reasonably priced choice of restaurants. Gets the holiday off to a great start
