Despite the hotel being excellent value for money the dining was so expensive we decided to eat somewhere else.

High quality food and service in restaurant. Rooms of the expected standard of this grade of hotel. Staff exceptional! e.g. even gave directions to the local Tesco store. Waited for bus but it was so late I had to book a taxi!

Our room was very clean and comfortable and the reception staff were very helpfull. It was nice to have a swimming pool on site but there was a lot of chlorine in the pool and my hair felt like straw the next day.

By far the best airport hotel I have stayed at. Will certainly book them again. Very comfortable stay and good bar with a nice bar menu. Main restaurant was a bit pricey.

Arrived at hotel in late evening, Hotel staff helpful and welcoming, great room, with excellent facilities, comfortable bed, and great breakfast at reasonable price, parking was at Summer Special on the airport site, very good service here as well. All in all a very good experience at an excellent price, many thanks.

We found the reception staff at both check in and departure (very early in the morning!) extremely helpful and friendly. My children had never stayed in a hotel before and were very excited - the reception staff at check in welcomed them warmly, which made their first stay very special for them.

I booked airport parking because we wanted to book into a hotel and relax prior to flying. We were told at the hotel that we had to drive to Summer Parking the next morning (missing the point-I could have done that from home). Even then we were flying from North. We drove to South terminal to park We then got a bus back to South were taken past North terminal and had to get a monorail from South back to North. (And of course had to do the same on the return journey). So leaving Crawley without breakfast it took us nearly two hours to get to South terminal. I can drive to Gatwick from home in two hours. Added to this the hotel was ordinairy and expensive. In all therefore it was a complete waste of money and it ruined my WEEKEND break as what I had planned to do as a little luxury caused me more stress and cost about £200. So no I am not happy and would never do this again (with this Company)-our friends did the same as us, had a fantastic hotel and left their car at the hotel) had wonderful food and a proper relax, I would like my money back please

Although slightly more expensive than other offers, we found the Ramada Plaza to be well worth the extra expense ( A little more luxury never hurt anyone on holiday ).

Ramada Hotel has very friendly staff and provide a great breakfast at a reasonable cost for adults - and free for children. Would certainly recommend this hotel to anyone travelling from Gatwick. Only 5-10 minutes drive from airport terminals. Used Summer Special Parking at North Terminal, where we were flying from, but the Summer Special bus only went to the South Terminal (this was not mentioned before we arrived at the car park), so we had to get the shuttle back again. Also not mentioned previously, was that they took your car keys and moved the car to their secure car park. As it was, the car came to no harm, but this should be pointed out clearly at the time of booking.

The room temperature was far too cold and could not be increased. Reception were informed but the problem was not rectified. No mention that there would be a £5 fee for parking the car in the hotel car park for the first night. Reception did though waive this when I complained. On return journey, there were more people/luggage than the coach could take and hence people had to queue further until another bus arrived.

The hotel was very clean and the staff extremley helpful and customer focused. This is not always the case especially for airport hotels as they are normally seen as a necessity. The room was clean and very comfortable. The next time we are flying from Gatwick this is the hotel we would use.

Unfortunately the restaurant was closed for refurbishment and a makeshift buffet service was offered in a Conference Room - we had a cooked breakfast but the food was luke warm and rubbery. We also had Room Service - a waitress carried 3 meals and drinks on a tray - which she had difficulty carrying - we could hear lots of clattering outside the door and that she dropped something. She put the tray down onto a bed and proceeded to open a bottle of Coca-cola which fizzed all over the bed - making a mess!!

Taxi from the hotel to the airport was very efficient for only 10 pounds. Hotel room was clean and nicely decorated. Would stay again if in England and needing a hotel near the airport.

We were pleasantly suprised with our stay at the Ramada and would definitely stay there again. We were expecting a basic airport hotel, but instead spent a night in a very comfortable, spacious room. There was lots of room for a travel cot, which the hotel provided and set up with good quality linens. We will definitely stay here again and would highly recommend it.

Really pleased I booked this for my return journey. My family and I were able to spend a relaxing time in the hotel, using the pool and eating in the restaurant. The room was spacious and the beds very comfortable. I would recommend this hotel to anyone. I will certainly be back.

Very pleasant stay, good value compared with other hotels in the area, only thing I thought was, the bus transfer price was quite high. But overall enjoyable stay.

Very disappointing. Air conditioning was not working in room, reported to reception but nothing was done to rectify the problem which resulted in a very uncomfortable nights sleep. Also requested an early morning wake up call which was never received. Will not be staying there again!!

Ended up only having 5 hours in the hotel room due to delayed flights, but overall it is a lovely hotel. Very clean, spacious modern rooms. Ideally situated for Gatwick airport, only 10 mins in a cab. Would definitely stay there again. Did not have an opportunity to use any of the restaurants or facilities.
