If your booking is with Essential Travel: Take a ticket at the barrier and park your car.

For all other booking agents: On arrival at Long Stay Car Park 1 or 2, insert the same credit/debit card you used to pay for your booking and the barrier will raise. DO NOT take a ticket from the barrier. Doing so may result in further charges upon exiting the car park. Please allow at least 20 minutes for the transfer to the airport terminal. You must use the same credit/debit card that you used to make your booking when you enter and exit the car park or you will be charged again at the car park's daily rate.

departure

If your booking is with Essential Travel: On departure, proceed to the information desk located in Check-in Hall A with the entry ticket from the barrier and your booking confirmation and quote your booking reference number where your ticket will be validated to enable you to exit the car park.

For all other booking agents: Drive to the exit barrier, insert the same credit/debit card you used to pay for your booking and the barrier will raise. You must use the same credit/debit card that you used to make your booking when you enter and exit the car park or you will be charged again at the car park's daily rate.

Long Stay Parking operates transfers to Leeds Bradford Airport that take approximately 5 minutes and run every 10 minutes.

Transfers to and from the Long Stay Car Park are via a free bus service that operates 7 days a week. Service runs 24 hours a day. During off-peak periods (22:00-05:30) use intercom points at bus stops to request pick-up.

Leeds Bradford Airport has an area dedicated to long stay Blue Badge holders. Disabled parking is in Car Park 7, which is a separate section in the Long Stay Car Park. Instructions are as follows: At the junction after entering the car park, turn left and left again. The area for Blue Badge holders is situated in the left-hand corner of this car park. PLEASE NOTE: If you wish to travel with your Blue Badge, please take a copy of your badge and display it in your windscreen. The disabled parking area is checked regularly and your car may be clamped if there is no sign of disabled parking entitlement.

Maximum height of vehicle is 2.5 meters. Skis, bikes, surfboards, canoes and other large objects that won't fit into the luggage racks can't be carried on transfer buses. If you are bringing large items with you, we suggest you drop them off at the airport before you park your car. Remember to check with your airline that you will be able to take them on the plane.
