We were told by the (very helpful) driver that there is only one bus serving the whole car park and on busy days the round trip can take over an hour. This means if you can't get on the bus because it is too full (a frequent occurrence), you could be waiting more than an hour for the next one. Definitely NOT as advertised. You would be likely to get a faster turnaround with valet parking and it would be cheaper as well.

It was the first time we have used the carpark and after my first experience will use this again on our next trip to birmingham airport. Well signposted on arrival, simple to use due to the registration recognition technology and simple to exit. quite close to the terminal building if you want to walk, but free bus runs every 15 mins.

I don't mind a swift walk, so the 5-10 mins it took from the car park to the terminal was fine. I imagine if it was raining, you don't like walking, or waiting 10-15 mins for a bus to take you a few hundred yards, it could be a bit of a pain.
