Continental Presidents Club Lounge reviews

The lounge was crowded and grubby and the Continental desk staff about as rude as they get. The only food on offer were crackers and cheese and crisps and apples.

I would not use this service again unless the friendliness of the initial/reception staff cheered up thanks

Much, much better than waiting in the general concours. More substantial snacks would be an improvement. Mobile phone use was a considerable annoyance. Could they be restricted to a dedicated area?

Best aspect was the comfy seats and wi-fi. However, booking-in took too long and availability of toilets was poor; just two cubicles for the entire lounge. I left to use the standard toilet facilities, for which i didn't have to stand in a que. As said, best aspect was ability to work in relatively quiet surroundings. The staff cleaning the tables worked hard and were considerate.

At reception the staff were very pleasant quick and efficient The lounge and amenities were all very clean Service excellent

not enough people cleaning up- I had to clean a table before use .Bins were left overflowing for long period of time. I realise it was busy time,but more staff should be available

After a long hard week, it was great to take time out in the airport to relax. The Presidents lounge was clean comfortable and had great facilities available.

A friendly staff with comfortable surroundings. The provision of small snacks were limited in comparison to other Lounge Providers around the world.

Being able to have a hot shower after a long international flight was pure heaven. There were lots of snacks and plenty of drink. Comfortable chairs and WiFi access. A very good experience and good value for money. I highly recommend it.

Travelling from Bristol, UK to San Juan Puerto Rico on 23rd April we had a five hour stop-over. Given this and the 90 minutes it took to clear immigration, re-check bags, switch terminals, booking lounge was a great decision. An oasis of calm, comfort & friendliness.

I had a 4 hour wait before my next flight so I booked into the lounge. I was very pleased with the service, comfort, drinks and snacks on offer. It also has showers to freshen up before hand which is always great.

I have used the club lounge of other airlines, American. BA, Virgin, Emirates. I found the Continental Presidents Club Lounge at Newark far below the standards of the other airlines. Cheese, Crackers and Pretzels was the food? on offer. Alcoholic beverages other than tepid beer was charged at extra cost.

I was flying San Diego to Baltimore with a stop in Newark. Access to the lounge at Newark enabled me to shower and change ahead of a busy day in Baltimore. I had to wait about 25 mins for a shower cubicle to be avalaible - fair enough but worth factoring in if you have a tight schedule.

If you have a long layover the Presidents Club Lounge is a great place to wait.

There did not seam to be much of a choice to snack on, maybe it was late in the day but I was a bit dissapointed with the selection

I was disappointed by the Newark Presidents Lounge. The staff at the entrance were very friendly and accommodated for me putting the wrong flight departure time in my reservation. I was not impressed by the facilities however. I had an 8 hour layover and was eager for a shower. Unfortunately no showers were available. I then had to stand in line (!) in the bathroom. There were only 2 stalls (1 on each end) for the entire lounge! It would have been faster for me to just go to the main terminal's facilities. Non-alcoholic drinks were free. For snacks they really only had 2 types of chips and some crackers, that's it. No candy and the bagel bar was empty. The lounge is situated above the food court. They have some leather armchairs which are very comfortable, the other chairs however have a low backrest and are rather uncomfortable. In summary, I'll save myself the $30 next time, grab some food at the food court and wait at the gate.

The lounge was clean and had great facilities. Lots of room for everyone to enjoy comfortable seating without sitting on top of each other! Food slightly limited but drinks and service were great. Would definitely do it again.

I unfortunately experienced the lounge on a Friday afternoon. Not in my opinion the best time to be there, it was very busy and finding a comfortable seat was difficult. However the lounge was well appointed and had excellent amenities and services

We had an 8 hour wait at Newark and so were pleased to be able to book three hours in the Presidents Lounge. It was rather busy, so finding 2 comfortable seats together was the immediate challenge. We ate some of the food on offer (apples, crackers and cheese) and had a hot drink. We didn't use the tv lounge as sports were the channel of choice and this didn't appeal - though the room looked very good. If a shower was wanted it was necessary to book a slot and so this extra bit of admin put us off. The tables were constantly cleaned and debris removed and the newspapers on hand were adequate. The main plus point was feeling like you were somewhere other than an airport terminal for a while. The quiet nature of the room despite all the people made this a real haven half way through a very long haul journey.
