No1 Lounge, Gatwick reviews

Last year we made the mistake of not using this service and paid the price of suffering the crowds airside.There were literally no seats to be found, and having to join lengthy waits in queues to be served for food etc did not bode well. This year I booked a party of four into No.1 Gatwick and it was the best decision I have ever made to stress free pre flight boarding. As soon as your walk into the lounge the calm atmoshere was astounding. All the services were at hand and suited us. We were told that at 0415 did come with the fact that it was a quieter time of day and there were not many people around. I will say, that any time in the future that I have to fly from Gatwick I will avail myself of these services again without fail. Well done to all at No.1 Gatwick and keep up the good work, that is why I marked you as the best in all categories !!!

A worthwhile decision as was the last time we booked last march. Would definitely book again.

It's nice to get away from the thousands of people waiting for their flights in the main a concourse areas, this could be better if the music was not so intrusive, and a better quality foods offered, bar was fine, worked efficiently.

This was our second visit to No 1 Gatwick - previous visit was in the afternoon and that was fine, but this time was a morning visit - 9 am. There was a very limited choice of foods, no croissants or toast but plenty of Jam! What do we put the jam on..... Very poor choice of cereal. For £25 per person I would have at least expected a slice of toast. The only pastries available were pain au chocolate (yuk)and small Danish pastry which was so dry you could use as a frisbee. When I asked for croissants or other pastries, I was told they had run out and this was at 9 am in the morning. I certainly wouldn't recommend a morning visit to this lounge.

I booked this lounge as a surprise for my sister, my best friend and myself just to start our girls week away with a bit of luxury of which it was my sister who hates flying and finds the wait for the plane gets to her. the minute i took her in the lounge she was a lot calmer due to the fact it was so peaceful and as i say a bit of pampering which took her mind off the flight, just a brilliant start to our holiday many thanks and in future all our holidays will start like this.

Nice hot breakfast, relaxed atmosphere. Friendly staff and a nice way to wind down after the journey to the airport.

I was travelling with 2 other adults (one a nervous flyer) and a 5 month old baby. the family area was great and a nice area to feed the baby in. The lounge itself is well set out with different areas so offered a relaxing place to start our holiday away from the constant bustle of the main departure lounge. Would definitely use again

This was the first time I had booked an executive with a nine hour flight ahead of me and a give hour journey to get to the airport I wanted a bit of luxury. The price for drinks, food and comfort was well worth it. I will use no. 1 Lounges whenever I can before a journey, it just makes sense.
