In the summer holiday periods, and Cyprus in particular, delayed departures can be traumatic. This executive lounge removed the trauma.

Friendly greeting on arrival, with care taken to ensure we knew what the lounge could offer, even though we'd used it before. Tables were cleared of "debris" swiftly and efficiently. Food and drink was of good quality and plenty of it. All in all, a very pleasant end to our stay in Cyprus.

The lounge is clean and comfortable with plenty of varied seating. The service from the hostess is excellent and she was quick to clear up used plates and glasses. However, the food was dire. Soggy sandwiches and almost inedible pastries and 'light bites'. Very disappointing. A good selection of drinks though, both soft and alcoholic.

One downside is that you have to go outside the lounge area to go to the toilets.

Stayed in dozens of lounges without a problem so was a little disappointed when everyone in the lounge was sweating and feeling uncomfortable because of the heat in there, asked the staff but was told sorry nothing can be done !!!! Most of us went out into the departure area to cool down.

I found the check in to the lounge to be quick and simple, there was a small selection of alcoholic drinks in the fridges and a good selection of soft drinks. Food was a very limited selection and had obviously been there for a long time, the sandwiches had started to go stale. After been in the lounge just over an hour the woman working there started to periodically come check i was still there, after an hour and a half she actually said to me "oh you're still here then". The seats were plentiful however not very comfy, felt like they'd come from Ikea!

This was our second time of using the lounge at Gatwick. Such a good selection of food and drinks and far more comfortable than the metal seats in the main area. Free WiFi always a bonus.

Very busy airport on Wednesday afternoons so it was wonderful to enter a quiet peaceful area and know you had a seat which wasn't metal! Snacks (hot and cold) of good quality and replenished frequently, hot and cold drinks and alcohol plentiful choice. Would definately use again

The standard features of an airport premier lounge were there - fair array of food and drink, although a bit on the unimaginative side. But so many people are now taking advantage of these lounges that they're in danger of becoming just as cramped and frustrating as the lounges outside we're all trying to escape from! Also the wi-fi kept cutting out and would it kill them to have toilets as part of the lounge package?

I have used a lot of lounges all over the world and I am afraid this one rates lower tha almost all of the rest including the alternative lounge at Birmingham
