Gatwick Arora Hotel reviews

We could not fault the hotel in any way. There were ample facilities, the staff were helpful and courteous and, although busy, we had a good night's sleep. Would not hesitate to use it again should the necessity arise.

Will use again -as a first option facing a long drive home after a very early check in at Orlando and a fairly long flight, to make a simple call and have your car delivered with a smile to the airport is a most welcoming experience.

Nice hotel, clean and comfortable with friendly and helpful staff. Good location to airport.

We wanted our holiday to begin with a nice meal at the hotel Italian restaurant. Very few people eating at the time. We ordered 4 meals and only 3 arrived. The other meal...although the same as one other ordered...came 10mins after the others. It was much smaller, and so highly spiced that only a small amount was eaten. We ordered a side order of plain potato wedges that came covered in paprika. We did make a comment on leaving the restaurant that we were not happy with the meal and just got a grunt and a shrug. All other staff at hotel were really helpful, and we were especially impressed with the driver of the mini bus who came to collect us from the airport on our return flight. He was chatty and helpful and made a long day brighter.

Good clean modern hotel. Convenient to the airport, although shuttle bus advertised on the web site as running every quarter of hour, but didnt - only ran every hour early in the morning so had to book a taxi instead.

I was very surprised at the hotel, the helpfulness of the staff, my room was excellent value it was a lot more bigger than I expected. The parking was easy, so was the transfer to and from the airport, I would definitely use this hotel again.

We stayed at this Hotel and we unfortunately had a broken mattress on the bed and it made for a restless night. The hotel staff were not helpful when we made a complaint telling us to fill in a feedback form. Our transfer in the morning was late as the driver overslept and they had to get us a Taxi, and on the return journey they refused to tell the driver to pick us up so we waited an hour for the next available hotel bus. Overall it was not the best Hotel I have stayed in and I doubt I would use it again.

A great place to stop if you are travelling from Gatwick. The restaurant was superb and one of the nicest meals we have had in a hotel in England. The head chef was lovely and we complimented him personally. Transfers were superb and great for getting to the airport. As someone who stops in a lot of hotels, I could not fault the hotel in any way. Superb.
