The surface is stone, dirt, potholes and puddles - impossible to wheel a suitcase over. No lining so cars parked with no thought for others access. On return after only 5 days, the car was covered in dust and dirt from passing vehicles, my first stop was to a car wash. How they have the effrontery to charge what they do for the use of this derelict site is a disgrace.

The car park didn't seem very secure and has a limited number of spaces. I do realise the airport is only small but the parking facility is very substandard.

Internet booking was easy. On return from our holiday it was unclear where to receive your car park exit ticket. It was only after asking one of their manual staff that told us to go to 'Tourist Information Desk'.

Just drive in and take a ticket from barrier then find somewhere to park, as the carpark was nearly full I had to park at the furthest point from departures point, no one in the parking to tell you where to go. Had to lug cases along rough patched up path about 400yds to departures. Security is nil!! Tip 1. drop your luggage at departures with spouse then park up. Tip 2. Go from Manchester!!

It's not clear which is the BCP car park, you are not sure if you are on company car park. We arrived about 0530 hours in Feb and I moved the car to be reasonably sure I was O.K. The surface of the car park really needs tarmac.

We found the booking of this car park through Simply Parking very straightforward and also great value for money. The car park itself was right beside the terminal, although if this had been full the other car park was a little further away.

No customer service. You just arrive, take a ticket and walk. No apparent security. Just need a ticket. It appears that anybody can walk round and look into the cars. No transfer needed. Had cheaper undercover parking at Liverpool John Lennon, with transfer and cheaper at Manchester, in a secured site. Not overall impressed but I will be using Blackpool again soon. Don't know which carpark though. Sorry.

Arrived in the dark and, as didn't know which terminal flying from, didn't know which signs to follow. The car park seems to be split into different areas and it wasn't clear whether parts of it were private parks for clubs or whether it was OK to park. Tickets didn't work at exit barrier and the 'staff call' button not clearly marked, but once I made contact with the staff they were very helpful.

Didn't see any carpark staff. Carpark was very basic. Only security was the barrier. Didn't need transfers because it was outside the doors of the airport (the one excellent feature). Wasn't the best value for money that I have had due to lack of security.

It would have been a bit better if there were some kind of sun shield like a roof over the cars to protect them a little more, and something like a gate to close it off to people who don't have their cars in there. There is a gate which you need your ticket to get in/out but we were a bit worried as it's just next to the main road and footpath so anyone could just walk in if they take a fancy to your car!

I was very wary about online booking, but found everything ran very smoothly and I wouldn`t hesitate to use your service again.

Free for all parking - Was too far from terminal. Had to walk over uneven ground with pot holes (dangerous) Also no cover for when it is raining. Got soaked before set off and damp on way back.

All in all a good place to park. I would imagine people with lots of luggage would struggle as there was no sign of any trollies.

Although the carpark was easy to find, it was not set out very well. The roadway was uneven, which is difficult when you have wheeled luggage. We had to walk a fair distance to the terminal.

Very good airport to travel from as small quick and easily accessible.

Excellent booking system.

Easy to find & park my car, very near to the terminal building. On return the service was very efficient & I was out of the car park in less than 5 minutes - very impressed.
