Bidvest Premier Lounge reviews

The only fault I can say about the lounge is that there was a real lack of food / nibbles on offer. I arrived at 6pm and there was very little in the way of food available. Overall the lounge is very quiet and clean, wifi was good. If you dont mind paying a premium for wifi, drinks and some quiet space, then you will be fine. I do feel however, that based on the cost and short duration of access, there should be more in the way of food.

Perfect way to relax after a long flight before the next flight. To be able to shower, eat & relax in a comfortable lounge.

We had not got our boarding pass as we had got our timings wrong. The customer service rep at the door was incredibly helpful. Great selection of drinks. Food was a bit limited but what there was was very tasty.

The main things we look for in a lounge are peace, unhurried atmosphere and comfort. Bidvest scored high for these things. Staff were unobtrusive and well-trained.

We were 9.00 pm at night which maybe excuse for poor food . Everything else good.

I found the lounge to be an oasis where I could sit in a recliner, read, have snacks and drinks and generally relax. I will definitely do it again.

Nice to have somwhere to relax and eat.,really enjoyed the comforts and food. Would recommend to others.

The Lounge provided restful venue for our long wait time between flights.

It was very nice to lie back in a comfortable chair with a choice of free drink and nibbles "Far from the Madding Crowd". A quick shower to freshen up and the three hours passed in a flash.

The opportunity to shower and change whilst in transit was most welcome. The lady in charge of the shower area was extremely friendly and helpful - she deserves recognition for her excellent customer service! The lounge itself was busy but peaceful with well-arranged, comfortable seating. There was a very good range of drinks but food variety and presentation could be improved - some of the food was pre-packed when it should have been fresh.

Very busy but worthwhile to get away from the general airport and relax before our flight; would recommend

It was so nice to have a shower relax and freshen up. Generally just excellent

Staff sadly could not keep up with demand but the bathroom facilities although clean need a litle revamp. Would still use again

Very relaxing with comfortable chairs, settees. Good choice of food which was replenished regularly so nice and fresh. Also a good choice of soft drinks, hot drinks, plus wine etc. A great place to put up your feet, relax, eat and drink before the long journey home.

The lounge check in was efficient and quick. The lounge itself was airy, spacious. The choice of food was quite good. Spending 3 hours here made the long lay-over at Johannesburg Airport a lot easier for us. I would highly recommend this lounge.

This lounge is fantastic however we were annoyed that on arrival we were not allowed entry without the printed booking voucher. This was unfeasible as we had been travelling for some considerable time. The receptionist refused to take the booking voucher displayed on the ipad and then made us email him the voucher all which took about 15 mins to sort out. The receptionist could clearly see we were tired which made his frosty reception quite unbearable. Shame.

Not much to say other than it was an enjoyable experience and great relaxation prior to a long flight

I enjoyed it, it was lovely although the receptionist need not be so patronising.

PERFECT!! Great food! Superb selection of drinks!Comfortable, relaxing furniture for the weary. Soothing atmosphere to unwind midst the hustle and bustle of catching and connecting flight! Great value for money! Will definitely recommend and will definitely use again should I fly in and out of Jo'burg with a long stop over!

This trip to Botswana was a dream neither of us could have imagined a few years ago. We were advised to book at the Bidvest lounge by our agent not knowing precisely what it was going to be like. We need not have worried. It was a haven to wind down in between flights which we did at the same lounge to and returning from Botswana to UK. Highly recommended. Go o, just do it and enjoy!
