Perfect for shower in transfer through Joburg to Cape Town. Bonus of food and drink and quiet place to sit and sort yourself out!

I spent two hours in relative comfort. The staff were good and welcoming. I got myself rehydrated and charged up my devices. The wifi was sufficient for casual browsing and emails. The range of snacks available were slightly disappointing - bags of crisps, fruit and a few pies and some salads. The shower was the highlight of my visit. Despite only taking a hand towel, the room was clean and large enough. The shower was hot and had loads of pressure from jets or overhead and helped revive me for the last leg of my journey.

Both the domestic and international lounges are worth using if you are connecting in Johannesburg. Food is average, the drinks choice good, and the showers are extremely welcome after a long international haul, or before one. There was a good choice of newspapers in the international lounge. The only improvement I would recommend is to instal more powerful extraction/ air conditioning in the shower areas, as one tends to sweat in the shower rooms given the heat buildup.

Value for money facility, with friendly and attentive staff. Lounge was clean, well laid out, with a wide choice of plentiful drinks. Food was a little less appetising, although the toaster was a nice touch. Showers (2 only) had no soap, but big plastic cans of what I assumed was liquid soap, and were bordering on not being spotlessly clean. Lounge is in a good location, with clear visibility of the boarding notices, which were also broadcast in the lounge. A better facility than I have experienced in other international airports.

I had to ask them a couple of times before they got the shower area ready for me to use. They would not permit me to take photos for the bidair website. no explanation offered - just "no".

Compared very well with the international lounges that I have used world wide - keep it up!

A little trouble getting in - they seemed not to understand the booking voucher. Good showers.

I had been travelling for hours to get back to south africa and before my connecting flight home i had quite a long wait so decided to wait in the lounge, from when i arrived i had prompt service and was welcomed in, friendly and helpful staff offered me a refreshing shower or bathroom to freshen up in, thereafter i went to settle into a comfortable seating environment where i could check my emails and help myself to refreshing snacks which was all in all a wonderful, relaxing and peaceful experience which was much needed after the long travels and away from the hustle and bustle of the airport, i apreciated that my luggage could be put down safely and i could rest and will definitely use the lounge in the future.
