Found the lounge unexpectedly busy, and it was difficult to find a seat away from noisy groups. Food and drink fine, but the TV was only visible from either inside or just outside the smoking enclosure. WiFi kept dropping out.

In an airport that has very little to offer this is a god send. I've now used this lounge 4 times and it has always come up to expectation. The food is good and plenty to offer from the bar in a very comfortable environment.

Booked the lounge to be able to shower and change after a long day in the sun, and with a long flight home upcoming. When we arrived at lounge were told that the showers were out of action as there was no hot water. The receptionist was offhand and bored, with absolutely no interest in the situation. The lounge is small, with insufficient seating and did not seem that clean. However, the airport waiting area is rather spartan, and had the showers worked it might have been worth it, though £20 per head is overpriced.

The lounge was comfortable and well stocked much better than expected. One of our party had a query regarding tax refund and the staff were knowledgable and helpful

The quality of food has hit rock bottom, now we have to hack at hard rolls to make our own food, it was an awful experience, it is now also overpriced and very poor value for money. After many years i have decided I will not be returning.

The lounge was absolutely full for the 1st hour, then cleared out to only about 5 of us. No one tried to clear the mess until the masses had left so the place was filthy. Very poor selection of snacks generally. Woest complaint was that no-one was going round cleaning up the discarded mess. First time I've been unhappy with a Bidvest lounge.

I wish I could have actually relaxed in the lounge before boarding my 22.35 Virgin Atlantic flight but unfortunately the lounge closed at 20.00hrs on a Tuesday so I cancelled the places my husband and I booked and spent several very uncomfortable hours waiting near our gate for the plane to leave. I cannot for the life of me understand why the lounge closes at that time on a Tuesday - any ideas????? Helen Wightwick P.S. Cape Town international airport has little to offer so this lounge is a must. Nice surroundings and a great selection of drinks and food. Ive used this lounge several times now and would never consider not booking in future.

My experience in Cape Town has been so fulfilling and exhilerating. The Lounge is squeeky clean, replenishment of food and drinks happen swiftly. Professional Receptionists. It is worth more than the money I paid for it. The standard of service is of absolute gradeAAA class.

I am a regular flyer and usually use the other airline lounges and thought I would try BIDVEST out after a pleasant experience and helpful staff at OR Tambo a couple of months ago. The food area was messy and lacking in a reasonable selection and the drinks area was more focused on alcoholic beverages than a balanced selection. There was inadequate seating for me and my family. The toilets were untidy and the whole experience was a let down and definitely not value for money. I do hope that you can drastically improve the level of service as this is a reflection on South Africa at a critical juncture in many overseas travellers journey's.

Our flight was not until 22.20, so it was great to be able to shower and change after a busy day in Cape Town. It was good to be able to use the internet facilities and relax with drinks and snacks. The staff were very pleasant and helpful.

I used the lounge at Cape Town International and was very impressed. A well stocked bar,comfy seats and most important a clean shower room! Only down side was the food but not to worry. It was well worth the £16.00 that I paid. Top marks.

Didn't get to spend as much time as we thought we would have in the lounge which was a shame as it was very comfortable with a good selection of food and drinks.A bit smaller than expexted but good value for money.

Just a bit disappointed by the food: from memory there was a small selection of uninspiring sandwiches, some bread, lots of crisps, some fruit, biscuits, and some trays that were unidentifiable. No bottles of still water, just sparkling. Lots of alcoholic drinks on offer. The lounge wasn't too busy which was nice. The lounge otherwise had all the facilities you'd expect. Tables were cleared on a regular basis but otherwise staff were not very visable.

The lounge at Cape Town International is comfortable and well equipped, and the service was excellent on our visit in March 2010. In general it is a pleasant environment for work or relaxation, but the overall experience would be enhanced if some areas were dedicated 'quiet'. There were flat screen TVs everywhere, which felt a bit intrusive after a couple of hours.

The lounge at Cape Town is in the new terminal so everything was pristine. I hope that standard is maintained. I have used the lounge at J'burg and that was good too.
