The Skyview Lounge reviews

Quite spacious, clean and good choices for drinks and snacks. A few more showers would be an advantage, but a nice relaxing lounge between flights. The three hour maximum stay is a good idea, but I was only there for about one hour thanks to a delayed flight arrival.

A nice quiet 3hrs waiting for a connection away from all the hussle and bussle!!

We had three hours between flights at Singapore airport, the Skyview lounge was everything we had expected from the reviews. We were flying from Heathrow to Sydney, so it was nice to be able to use the shower facilities to freshen up, and relax in the lounge before our next flight. We would use the Skyview lounge again.

My perfect stay is one where I can get a shower, enjoy a snack and a drink, in peaceful surroundings and that is exactly what happened. The staff were very attentive.

There are three seating areas to this lounge. I climbed a few steps to get to the most secluded, and spent 2 hours as one of only three people with free access to dishes of dim sum, salads, sandwiches & rolls, a fridge full of soft drinks and beer, a coffee machine, comfortable chairs and BBC News on the plasma TVs. The food was tasty and frequently replenished, the staff were courteous, the lounge was comfortable and I found wifi with which I could use my BT Openzone subscription. A wonderful break between long haul flights and I will book the Skyview lounge again the next time I have a few hours in Changi airport. Changi airport has more comfortable (and reclining) seats elsewhere in the airport, there could be more variety of hot food and the lounge has no outside space (so no smoking) but if you have a few hours to kill in Singapore and don't want to get local currency to spend in the restaurants and cafes, the Skyview lounge is ideal!

The lounge was easy to find and I was greeted with a smile. I was able to have a shower straight away and the showers were clean. Lounge was pleasant and there was a good choice of drinks but I would have liked to have seen a wider choice of food. All in all good value for money and a pleasant place to spend a couple of hours on a stopover.

When travelling to Australia, this lounge is a great way to spend the time between connections or for refuelling. It is quiet and offers all that you need. The food is not extensive but is enough for you to choose from. It would be nice to have some snacks ie biscuits, crisps, nuts etc but other than it is all there. It is also easy to use without any red tape or drama.

Difficult to cancel as you ask for at least 24 hrs notice but that is difficult when travelling as one does not necesarilly have access to email at all times. But thank you for credit for 2 of the cancellations we needed when we were in Singapore

Well worth booking. Very good value as the price of food and drinks are expensive in the airport. You were able to have drinks and snacks throughout the time all included in the price. A quiet and comy session at Singapore airport.

We found the showers hadn't been serviced since the person before had vacated and we had to ask for towels. The coffee tables in the lounge were not cleared and we had to ask for our table to be wiped. The two ladies who were clearing tables and looking after the showers talked to each other all the time and were not interested in their work nor was the lady who was responible for the food,the lady in reception had to look for her when the hot food ran out.

the service was great, food and drinks renewed all the time, comfortable seating, all very adequate. Shower a bit dissapointing, hadn't been cleaned form the last person, had to lug my luggage up the stairs everytime I needed the toilet as I was travelling alone and nowhere to leave it.

We stopped off at the lounge on our way back from Australia to London. The customer service was extremely good and our boys were able to wile away the time on the free internet, as well as us all having a most welcome shower. Will definately book again next time.

It was very appreciated the fact that there were shower facilities after a long flight with clean showers and towels. The lounge was quiet and comfortable and the food adequate.
