La Valette Club Lounge

Great Maltese appetisers and very spacious room and clean ..staff very professional ,a good variety of alcohol and soft drinks.will definitely be using the suite again.well done

We have been in VIP lounges in London, Glasgow, Newcastle, Mexico, Cuba, Mauritius and various places in Europe. This was by far the most pleasant lounge we have been in anywhere. Its not cheap, but both hot and cold food, fresh, were available, and any amount of hot or cold/alcohol drinks. Lovely way to end a fabulous trip to Valletta.

We normally use airport lounges on our travels yet for some reason we have never visited the La Valette Club in Malta although we go to Malta regularly. We have missed out in the past and will always visit in future. The ambiance and facilities are first class and the choice of food and beverage was excellent. I can highly recommend La Valette Club Lounge and it represents very good value.

Food choice was varied and tasty. While we were there mid morning it was the changeover from breakfast (croissants, pastries etc) to lunch (Maltese tuna sandwiches, tartlets etc) both of which were very good. Good selection of drinks. Staff were unobtrusive but efficiently clearing and serving. Not crowded and comfortable chairs and sofas. Free airport wifi also worked well.

Happy with service and choice of food and drink. My husband had to go and buy a newspaper, in other lounges there has been a selection to choose from. Unfortunately our flight was delayed but we still had to go to the gate at the same time as everyone else, would rather have stayed in the lounge longer.

I use this lounge on my way home from holiday. It is a nice place to wait for the announcements of the flight

The lounge is very well laid out, and is very light and airy. It is a self-service all you can eat and drink which is very welcome and a very nice way to relax prior to the stresses of flying.

La Valette is a nice lounge: cool, light and airy and comfortable. Food and drink is good (especially the Maltese pastries). On the downside for us was that it feels like a business travel lounge, and was geared very much that way - not much to do if you don't want to work or quietly relax, and nothing specifically for younger travellers. I think reception could have been a bit more helpful by asking if we were first-time visitors and offering a quick tour/explanation of the facilities. But La Valette is a nice place to be, especially if you are not travelling with kids, and it was good to have an hour of relative peace (or as much peace as a 3, 5 and 8 year old will give you). We will use it again - even with kids ;-)

La Valette lounge is very comfortable and very convenient. I have used it twice and both times my flight has been delayed leaving Malta so it was good not to have to wait in a packed departure lounge. For what it costs, I would recommend it to everyone but especially anyone travelling on their own.
