Hampton by Hilton reviews

Stayed in the Hampton by Hilton Hotel at Liverpool Airport for one Friday night in May 2011 before catching a flight to Rhodes early on a Saturday morning. Had an extremely good price considering I booked 15 nights car parking too. Parking the car was very easy, took a ticket and found a space on Level 5 (Hotel Reception), checked in smoothly, very good customer service. Room was fantastic, very comfortable and clean. Had the continental breakfast as we had to check in at 5am. Selection was very good. All in all had a very good experience and a lovely stress-free start to the holiday. Would definitely recommend.

We had to get up very early, so didn't stay long. We enjoyed the views of the Mersey before darkness fell.

We stayed at the Liverpool Hampton by Hilton prior to flying to Berlin where we stayed in another Hampton by Hilton Hotel. We would definately recommend staying the night before your flight and include parking at the hotel for the period of time whilst you are away.The parking is secure and the hotel is across the road from airport departures.The staff are friendly;the beds are comfortable and the hotel is clean. There is a varied breakfast including hot and cold items served from 6am(although no croissants in Berlin).Tea and coffee is available in the rooms,although no bottled water, room service and no fridge.Toiletries are provided and the shower was hot with good pressure.The bar at the hotel in Berlin was very reasonable and it is open 24 hrs.We thought that the hotel in Berlin was quite far from the tourist sites (we recommend using public transport or renting bycicles).There are some good resturants,bars etc at Sauvignyplatz,5 mins walk from hotel,including German and Italian Cuisine and we recommend the Berliner Beer Salon also close to the hotel.Try Berliner Currywrust(a local snack served at huts on the street)and Berliner Weise Beer(either rot "red" or grun "green").The zoo is well worth visiting in addition to the "standard" tourist sites such as Checkpoint Charlie.We would definately return....

The hotel was easy to find and, quite literally, across th road from the airport terminal building. I was slightly surprise to find that I needed to insert the key-card into a slot inside the room in order to activate the lights. Buffet breakfast was adequate but I would have preferred the croissants to have been warm rather than straight out of a refrigerator.

Really warm amotsphere. Friendly staff. Room excellent no noise from aeroplanes. Food available delicious prices okay for a airport hotel. Will be using again next time take gym gear

Really comfortable room - great shower! So good to be literally 20 yards from the terminal. Well organised and generous breakfast and nice dinner Best airport hotel we've ever stayed in, no horrible shuttle buses, and totally hassle free - hurrah!

Excellent convenient parking, modern clean hotel, excellent room, good continental breakfast even though it was early morning. Friendly helpful staff. Couldnt be closer to the terminal which made checking in really easy.

Although on site parking was part of our booking, it wasn't available on arrival as hotel carpark was full.Hotel staff fixed us up at the Pricebuster carpark, providing us with a ticket for the exit on our return. The carpark was quite a distance away. We had to walk back there also after our holiday - thankfully not raining, dragging our cases, hoping the wheels didn't disintegrate!! On trying to drive out when we returned, the ticket would not raise the barrier, and the attendant we spoke to via the call button said the hotel should not have sent us there. Anyway he was ok and let us out!! This was disappointing and all a bit of a hassle,as we expected a carpark space to have been reserved with having booked, and paid, so far in advance. Actual hotel experience very good, welcoming staff,clean, cosy warm room, and tasty choices for buffet breakfast. Wonderful to be so near to departure lounge at LJL. Infact we trundled over at 4 45am, checked in our luggage, then popped back to enjoy a more leisurely breakfast

The location couldn't be better for taking an early flight. Simply cross the street to departures. A frequent city bus service passes the door. I didn't use it but the integral carpark must be a boon for drivers. The room was spacious, elegantly furnished and witha great view. Very comfortable bed and easy to control air-con. I liked the dispensers for shampoo, shower gel & lotion in the designer bathroom. It saved packing wet stuff. The best hotel towels I have ever used. The early breakfast included in the price is a winner, and served from 4 a.m.! This was my first stay but at the price I paid, I'll be back . Often
