At every stage the staff of the hotel were courteous, helpful and friendly. My wife commented to me that she felt spoiled, so this was an excellent way to start our holiday - especially since the room-plus-parking package was such good value.

Well worth getting a night before you leave at the hotel and then you can leave your car for the holiday. Staff were very nice.

An excellent night's stay. It was a great way to start a holiday - the room, service, meals and delivery to and from the airport were first class. I would have no hesitation in recommending this hotel.

Friendly staff, convenient for the airport, and no problems parking my car. I hope to stay there again in the near future.

Perfect if you want a night close to the airport, with good drop-off and collection services. However, no spaces in car park, cramped and poorly planned (conferences also running apparently).

Well set out lounge and bar area. Very friendly staff, and clean and comfortable rooms.

The service was fine, but not perfect - no instructions what to do when arriving regarding car parking & if we had arrived later that day there would have been no available space for car but on verges alright for 4 x 4 but not good for suspension of ordinary cars. Breakfast ok but would normally expect more in 4*

This was the best thing we did! The hotel was great, a cot was provided for our baby daughter and the porters couldn't do enough for us. A continental breakfast was put out at 3am, so we got something to eat even with a 4am check-in. The minibus was waiting for us as we got to the meeting point and drove us right to where our car was parked. There wasn't even any plane noise overnight! Would definitely use this service, and the Thistle Hotel again. Great value.

Extra praise for Mal the driver on shuttle airport coach, and for the bar manager. The evening meal too was excellent. Five stars and a stress free start to a great holiday.

Booked a double room but the invoice from reception said single room, when queried receptionist said it was a printing error. Only one coffee cup in room so make your own mind up. It may have been a small double bed or a large single bed.
