Outside the hotel was a bit scruffy with leaves and litter everywhere. Room perfect for what we needed. Parking could be better - it was hardly a secure park - we were told to leave the car outside the front door, but it was OK. Pub had the best fish and chips ever and helpful staff. We would use it again. Pick up great, but a more accurate description of where to wait for taxi would help.

Not a good event; 1. The matress of the double bed very saggy in the middle, i.e it was worn out, it did not provide for a comfortable night's sleep 2. Wake up call booked at reception for 5am. No call received and no hint of apology when this raised at reception on checking out. 3. Bottle of house white ordered with dinner taken in the dining room. This was different from menu (but accepted) but then no wine appeared until after arrival of food (main course). Wine only received only after leaving the table to enquire its whereabouts. To cap it all the manager who brought the wine to the table managed to spill some on the table whilst filling the wine glasses. I have put the occasion down to experience and likely will not return.
