Holiday Extras Increase Airport Parking Cancellation Charges

Holiday Extras has announced they are raising the cancellation charges for airport parking bookings from £7.50 to £9.50.  The new charge comes into effect on 17 March 2009;  bookings made prior to that date will be charged at the old rate of £7.50.

This cancellation charge applies to all airport parking bookings cancelled at least 24 hours before the booking commences. ( No refund is issued for cancellations made within 24 hours or after the start of the reserved time period.)

At present, approximately 2% of gosimply.com‘s customers find it necessary to cancel their parking bookings, so to help them avoid the cancellation charge, a .99p “cancellation waiver” option will soon be available on all Holiday Extras airport parking bookings.  Customers who elect to purchase this waiver will not be subject to the £9.50 charge should they need to cancel.

Howard Dove, Sales and Operations Director for Holiday Extras, stated that the higher charge is necessary due to increased administration costs.
