ESCAPE LOUNGE - AM reviews

Really needs to be much bigger. For an international airport it is way too small. However, what is there is good and the staff are really helpful.

I will always use the Escape Lounge when I fly from Manchester as it was an excellent, relaxing experience. The kindness of the staff was first class and the cleanliness was superb. Well done to everyone involved in the Escape Lounge.

Would have no hesitation in recommending the Escape Lounge at Manchester Airport

Visited the Escape Lounge in March of this year and as we enjoyed it so much we used the facilities again in November. Lounge is spotless, dirty cups, plates etc cleared away almost as soon as you finish with them. Can help yourselves to the different foods all cold apart from toast, but a good selection of other things to eat. Was easy to find a place to sit (but we did travel early morning). Beauty is you can sit, read the papers,magazines and then just go to the gate when it shows on the board. You just don't realise how busy it is in the general areas until you come out of the lounge to go to gate. Would we use it again - most certainly.

The Escape lounge is exactly that, it is an escape from the crowds and allows you time to unwind in a relaxed and calm atmostphere prior to your flight.

I like to use the lounges before a flight to relax, get away from the hussle and bustle, it was unfortunate that this experience did not happen due to children crying. It would be better if there was an area for families only. The Escape is in 2 sections ideally 1 for families and the other for those without to enjoy the peace and quiet. Very disappointing!

Great place to start your vacation or even to keep calm before a business trip. Seats are a lot more comfortable than downstairs in the general seating area and your not surrounded by noise and screaming children. Well worth the money.

Would never travel without using the lounge, helps to take the stress out of flying, would definitely recommend.

we normally use the servisair lounge at terminal 2, however last time we had a preview of the escape lounge - the staff were more than happy to show us round the facilities and we decided to try it. We will be using it everytime in future, we had an early flight so the toast and fresh fruit cocktail with yogurt from the fridge was fab. i used the complementary business centre to log in and tie up a few work ends before hols. The staff were great both receptionists were attentive and much more personal service than other lounges we normally use.

I would highly recommend the Escape Lounge to anyone travelling from Manchester airport. I had three hours until my flight as I was travelling to New York and this lounge made the wait pleasurable and relaxing rather than stressful and boring. The staff were friendly and approachable. The range of food and drink provided in this lounge was top quality and more importantly fresh. I defy anyone to give the lounge a bad review as in my opinion and everyone myself and my friend spoke to it was excellent. I will be using the lounge every time I fly in the future :).

Very worthwhile - excellent to be able to relax away from the crowds! Staff very attentive and the range of food and drink was excellent - thoughtful variety of food.

Can not fault the lounge - however, as it was out first experience, once there the receptionist took our flight details so we expected a reminder to go to gate - we did not and as there is no screen in the lounge, you can easily be on the last minute - it would be advantageous to put a small screen in the lounge - not outside - then passengers can keep track of the time !

We found the staff and the faclitys were very good and the seating was comfertable

having experienced busy departure lounges and delayed flights (as ours was), we found the lounge to be very peaceful and a very good way of preparing for our journey. The facilities and service were very good and all that we needed. We were not rushed in any way and the staff were courteous and efficient

Makes a nice relaxing start to a trip especially early morning after a 4AM alarm call

The cleanliness could be much better - as we stay in Lounge there were only 15 other people, although the seats were full of crumbs. The reception employee was very friendly and could not be more helpfull.

The Lounge was exceptionally clean and tidy; the food fresh and inviting and there was a good range of drinks, newspapers and magazines. The staff were vextremely friendly, professional and helpful. A million miles away from the chaos of the shops and cafes downstairs.

Away from the noise of the main terminal. Well serviced with staff without being over the top. Was almost late for the flight so another display screen would be useful.

could do with another television,toilets too far away ? work in progress,more up to date magazines,very good staff, good security ladies on the reception knowing who has booked in and gone shopping in duty free.Iwill allways start my holiday with this facility. ty
