Primeclass Cip Lounge

I enjoyed the Primeclass Cip Lounge. I rated "Facilities" a 3 because there was a lack of outlets for those who wanted to plug in their laptops. There was only one available outlet that I was aware of.

I had problems getting inside this lounge. The customer service girl told that I could not do so as I am not a business class passenger. She let me inside only after I informed her that I paid to be here & she called someone to ask. Also, I had touble inside because of an air conditioning system. It was extremely cold and windy. After changing my seat 3 times I managed to find less windy corner in this lounge. Lounge facilities are very good and its value for money. Please take into consideration the solvation of the airconditioning system. Because after being in this lounge I got sick the next day. Thank you. Please inform me about the state of the air conditioning issue as I often fly as a transit passenger with Turkish Airlines and would like to use this lounge as I must wait for almost 4 hours in Istanbul to get my next flight.

Coffee is great, snacks are alright, and there were plenty of drinks to choose from. Seating is a bit limited, but didn't seem to be an issue when I was there. The downers: there are two electrical outlets, and if you're not seated next to them you are out of luck if your laptop/ipod etc need to be charged. Secondly, the staff was spraying febreze like it was going out of style. Every 30 minutes they would spray half a bottle, gross.

I flez in on a long flight from CPT via JNB to IST; I went to the CIP lounge and had a shower. The shower room was clean. The shower itself very small. The only toilet for men is also in this shower room. I appreciated the soap and shampoo given. The lounge is one of the smallest I hqve seen. As I finished the shower the receptionist told me that they were expecting a big group and asked me to go to another lounge - the CIP Wings lounge. Not as elegant, but bigger, no toilet though and the internet is all on pay and the keybord in Turkish. So basically useless. The lounge was extremely noisy with a loud huge TV boradcasting Turkish News. The snacks were mediocre, the coffe and tea good. The big pluspoint - and this would have been impossible in the Primeclass Lounge - was that I found a corner where I could lie down and sleep for about 2 hours.

Food selection could be better, drinks are ok. Only recomended when you arrive early morning and late at night as it tends to get a bit crowded.

arrived one hour late. Food is not so abundant, not a big selection, but people from staff are nice
